Gentle Giant / Re: Gentle Giant Mini-Busts

I do not collect the mini busts or the larger ones either, but my love for Amy Allen might just decide that I get this one. I really wish they'd have just made a full size statue of her like the Slave Leia and the ESB Darth Vader though. I don't collect that line either, but I bought those because they were simply must haves. Why enjoy only half of her when you could have the entire body? Oh well, perhaps one day someone will make a really nice 12" figure or even better yet....a really nice 1:4 scale statue....hint hint...Sideshow!

Hey guys, have you ever seen or heard of any hardcover X-Wing Rogue Squadron books? I'd love to have that complete set in hardcover!

Those look so cool....but there's no way I could get them.  Even in this huge new house, I don't think I have the space for them!  :D

That's why I'm getting rid of most of my Hasbro stuff.  :P I can't wait to have a complete wall of beautiful helmets behind glass.

I've got a ton of singles as well as several complete sets available if anyone is looking for them.

I am interested in picking up some singles. What are you charging?

$0.15 per card or $12.00 for a complete set.

Yeah got 'em from EE, a month later than I thought I would.

Glad to hear someone got their order from EE. Before I decided to give up Hasbro, I had ordered both Maul and the Luke plus whatever dumb BSG character was with them. I've since cancelled the order, but I was wondering if I was going to get an email that said they wouldn't be getting them in after all. Glad to hear they did.

Had I known this line was going to continue, I might have kept them, but I'm not going to start changing my mind now. With that said, I believe I've got all of these previously released figures in any version they came out in for sale if anyone is looking for them.

For some dumb reason, I think they released the first one only in paperback, then this one in hardback and then the third one only in paperback.  ???

I have the first and second in hard cover, and the third (Han Solo and the Lost Legacy) pops up in hard cover every once in a while on ebay, but you're looking at at least $25+ for a decent copy.  That is 1 of only about 6 books I need to complete my hardcover collection.  I thought that I had gotten a copy of NJO Traitor, but the auction ended up being a fraud and they removed it from ebay.  Oh well, the hunt continues.

Oh, well that's good to know. I was checking wikipeidia.com and it didn't look like they had anything listed for the other two books in that series as hardcover, but if you have them, that's all the proof I need! I ended up paying $45.00 for this one, but given the condition it's in, I totally didn't mind. It looks like it's never been read and the dust jacket is flawless.

Sorry about your failed auction for Traitor. That's always annoying, but you'll get it though.

Jeff Gordon wins again!

This is Jeff's 81st career victory and his fifth at Lowe's Motorspeedway tying him for third on the all time win list for this track.

He now leads Jimmie Johnson by 68 points.

I can not say it enough....THE DRIVE FOR FIVE IS ALIVE!

On to Martinsville.

Okay, this is one of the books I ordered the other day. It's the only one that's arrived so far.

I got an absolutely perfect hard cover first edition copy of "Han Solo's Revenge" from 1979 written by Brian Daley. This is the second book in a three book cycle by Daley.

For some dumb reason, I think they released the first one only in paperback, then this one in hardback and then the third one only in paperback.  ???  It's strange seeing a book this old in such nice condition though.

What kind of condition do the books from the Book Club arrive in? I'm so picky about the items in my collection, so it's always a challenge to find the best condition possible. Do they pack them well?

Everything that I've ordered and received from them has been mint condition.  They pack things very well and their shipments arrive quickly.  I highly recommend them.

As an aside, I've pre-ordered Inferno and Death Star, so if you wait until next month, both of those will probably be available for your subscription commitment.

Thanks for the info.

Inferno would definitely be one that I'd get since it's only in paper back, but the Death Star novel will be released in a larger hard back, so I'll have to get that version for sure.
