I was thinking about this the other night. What was the conversation like between Obiwan and Owen Lars about taking in Anakin's child? Did Obiwan tell Owen what happen to Anakin? If he did, why would Owen put himself and his wife at risk if Vader found out his son was alive? At the end of ROTS we see Owen and Breu very happy to see Obiwan and accept the baby. What made Owen become so negative towards Obiwan? Why didn't Obiwan just raise the baby by himself or at least setup an agreement to train Luke as he grew up?

I got in this discussion at work about how an imperial walker name is pronouced. Is it At-At or A.T.A.T. ?

I saw a commerical for Life on Mars last night. This is basically about a police officer that wakes from a coma to find he is in the '70s but weird things keep happening around him. He can't figure out if he is dreaming or really there.

I'm surprised they are doing an american version of this show. I wonder if they are going to use the same scripts. It kind of looked like it from the commerical. I wonder if the new Sam character will wake up at the end of the season and turn into the Master on Doctor Who like the British one did.

With the talk of a new version of Clue coming out, I thought I would start a thread about some classic board games that I loved as a kid. Starting out is one that was kind of creepy and unusual.

There was a game I had back in the mid '70s called Seance. Players would bid on dead Uncle Everett's possessions and the high bidder listens to instructions from their dead Uncle via a record (played on the record player hidden in the deck.) When all the items have been bid on and acquired, the record in the desk in turned over and Uncle Everett tells the players what each of the items is worth or how is due in taxes for the item. The player with the most cash at the end of the game is the winner.

I wish I still had this game. A working version of the game is suppost to be extreemly rare due to the technology used back then.

After all the mistakes we see Yoda make during the prequal trilogy, Yoda goes into hiding. Shouldn't he have tried to get in contact with the surviving Jedi, regroup and retrain to go against the Emporer and Vader?

Just listening to a podcast that was discussing AOTC. Looking at all the things that the Jedi missed like red lightsabers popping up everywhere and someone building a clone army, shouldn't the Jedi be seeing these things and put two and two together and do what is good for the galaxy early on instead of wondering what is going on during the clone wars and doing nothing?

Why do the Jedi act stupid and not realize what is really going on and who is really pulling the strings? Why do the Jedi go and attack separtist planets without finding peaceful methods to resolve problems? Why do they cheat at dice games and bend Gungan minds to their needs? Why make the gungans fight and die against the droid army while they, for the most part, safely go into the palace to find the viceroy? Why do the jedi give contradicting messages about using your feelings and ignore them to Anakin? Do the Jedi ever consider that the Republic might really be broken and the Separists might be right?

Everything they do seems to be completely anti-Jedi morals and ethics.
