Brent, simple because I am a homeowner with two kids and a wife ;D!  Although my wife is extremely supportive of my hobby, I have to be frugal and have not found that piece or the Indiana Jones, speederbike set or carded Luke for a justifiable price yet.

Awesome!  Another carded Kubrick I can't afford to get right now!   >:(

Maybe I should sell that extra kidney I've got, then I could afford a few carded Kubs...  :P

Thanks for the pic, Simon!

What on earth makes them think they can get that much. Seeings as the Droids Fett is going for under $100 and is a way cooler figure. I pity the fool that pays that much.

Well she has now been popping up on auction with openers for $99. One was bin'd for $120.

That seller I posted that has 3 of them sure revised his auction price from an opening of $150. with a bin of $250. to $99.99 with a bin of $150.  The other sellers with lower prices must have scared him!  ::)

hi, i'm new to jdforums..

anyway i gotta say these guys are trying their luck too much..

must be trying to target pple who are new to kubricks/ebay and have a bit of cash to spend.. hoping they will worry that they're hard to find so they will buy it at their buy-now prices..

jst look at the metal gear snake eater.. the price is obscene man..
and they're all the same guy.. he must be like this now..  ;D

but its quite good business ah... fancy getting like 10000% profit.. enough to cover for his/her entire japan trip..

Welcome to JD yujun.  :)  Yes the prices are insane, always happens when a new exclusives comes out. Though the carded Kuby's are hard to get over here being limited to Japan & limited numbers made on some of them, someone I guess does have to pay for there rent.

All in time more will show up & hopefully the prices will come down alittle. $60 to $80 range I don't think is too bad.  :-\

I posted my thoughs awhile back on one carded fig.

I was thinking of this awhile back, Medicom has the molds & they seem to reuse them when it comes to carded figures, just a difference in the figures ala Sandtrooper, Luke, R2, Fett except the first carded Fett where they just used the chase figure.

Putting a Vinyl Jawa on a card would be a ultimate nod to the vinty line. Not sure if they would change anything to the figure, its fine where it is but do to the rarity on the vintage Vinyl Jawa, its possible seeing him carded like the 12 back. They could even put on the proper vinty bubble to give it that look.

Dunno, just a hunch.

As for another, I'm still leaning towards a Droids C-3PO. Then again, ya never know what Medicom wil do. They sure must have someone in there design team with knowledge of Star Wars.
