2005 DVD Thread

TVShowsonDVD has a look at the next "head box" from the Simpsons DVDs, as well as the "alternate" or regular packaging option.  Sounds like it is on the way December 13th.

Anyone heard anything about Deep Discount DVD having a 20% coupon floating around right now?

I believe the code was supersale.  I used it last night to finally pick up these two box sets that I wanted for a long time.






Just a heads up you can only use it on one order and no presales.

There are a few codes going around, I can't recall them all, though. I'm not biting, personally. The sale isn't really worthwhile unless you're buying boxed sets. That new Buffy boxed set is tempting, though.

Kinda sucks for everyone that bought the seasons individually, now that you can get all 7 for $112 during the supersale. I believe they're slimline cases, like the re-issued X-Files sets, with a lower MSRP.

That bugs me to no end. I got six of the seven seasons at $50 each, and now they go and reissue it way cheaper. It's why I'm holding off on getting any Angel season sets.
