Any songs or music video's that make you blubber like a baby?
For me, it is:
Amazing Grace (Played on the bagpipes, mind you. Any other way doesn't phase me.)
Hero, by Enrique Inglssias (Video or Song) Makes me blubber like a baby like you wouldnt belive. The video is 10 times worse.
Time stands still by The All American Rejects makes me cry like a fanboy with a bent wookie, I tell you what. Reminds me of a previous love.
How about you? Any tear jerkers?
Kevin

Just about anything performed by Wesley Willis.

There's a song I hear and immediately I think of my dog... I ain't gonna admit to crying to you punks but it "upsets" me... Yeah, "upsets" will work as a description.

Works for me, played at my mother's funeral at my request. Her name was Grace :'(

Hero makes me want to puke because that was the song my ex loved for us when we were together.

I would have to go with "Butterfly Kisses", makes me think of when my daughter was born. I hear that and get all misty-eyed.

Jeff Carson's "Real Life?"

No... Van Halen tune actually... Dunno the song you mentioned actually. I'm not much of a music person.
I played Tuba for like 2 years when I was in Jr. High. ::)

Did I ever tell you guys about the time Wesley called my house?
Rest his eternal soul. :-[

It's actually a country song and it starts off about a boy and his dog and how he's young, the dog is old but they are both the same age. Then the dog dies of course and the song talks about how he realized for the first time what real pain was and how he was never the same again. The whole song is about life experiences. Real tear jerker. If you've ever had a dog and lost him/her, this song will definitely pull at the heart strings. Gets me everytime.

Everybody Hurts by REM. It was what my friend chose for his funeral.

Garth Brooks: The Dance (Sherry's mother's funeral) & Lonestar: Amazed (my best friend's fathers funeral). :'(

Country Music is so damn depressing. I'm amazed there isn't a high suicide rate among its listeners. There's always lyrics about losing your wife, your car... Death... Violence...
Gimme Faith Hill singing about something sunny while wearing something skimpy. That's Country Music goodness.

Back when I was only three ft. tall- every time I heard the theme to “The Godfather” I would instantly break down and weep, I’m not sure why exactly… maybe it was done in D minor… saddest of all keys. Anyhow, we owned the 45 single (it was a big hit) and my eldest sister would occasionally put it on just to mutilate my puerile psyche, I’d get her back by chasing her around the house with a large butcher knife, or sometimes a dirty broom as she was (still is) mortally terrified of germs.

There are a lot of sad songs, but they are songs about real life, about things that everyone of us have experienced. That's what makes them so great.

Not at all trying to make light of what you posted, but I know at least one song I want played at my funeral. A pile of us decided on this in high school, so not necessarily motivated with the best intentions probably.
Pink Floyd. Comfortably Numb.

Like a lot of you, country music makes me weep. I start crying whenever I hear country music for more than a couple of songs in a row, just because it hurts so much to know I'm enduring it rather than just being dead. It was like that when a friend put on a "Creed" CD, too.
But other than that, the song that makes me tear up is "Step Into the Light" by The Afghan Whigs. Most personal break-up song ever.

Not that we need a good cry or anything, but I was just curious if you guys knew the name of this song. Just curious about it. We've always been big dog people throughout our lives, and have unfortunately lost some great ones over the years, and I was just curious about the song.

Everytime You Go Away by Paul Young
(Something about that playing at the end of "Planes, Trains and Automobiles gets me everytime.)
Fields of Gold by Sting
(Heard it so much on an extended trip for the first time from my wife and made me very lonely.)
Somewhere Out There by Ronstadt / Neville
(Was kind of a family song when we were away from our first son, who spent most of his short life in the hospital. He died of a heart attack shortly after his second birthday..still gets my entire family when we hear it.)
