Title: Funko 5.5" Action Figure Lines

Huh.  Funko has announced a new line of 5.5" Mortal Kombat X (https://funko.com/blogs/news/coming-soon-mortal-kombat-action-figures) figures... that look like He-Man knock-offs.  :-X  What a really strange decision...

Edit: EE just put these up for pre-order (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/hitlist.asp?company=Funko&theme=Mortal%20Kombat&sort=22).  Description says they are 5POA and $15 each!  ::)

Weird.

That is a  modded Fright Zone playset, there's the MOTU feel  but I think they remind me of 80's/90's vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Sounds like the Funko name for this scale is "Savage World" and Funko is planning more licenses done in this style (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQypdsa6qhU) for their "Savage World" line of 5.5" figures...

Yeah, the appeal of this style is lost on me...kinda hope they don't do any properties I like.
