Is this the best 3 3/4" Vader ever made?

Tunghori has these now.

Even with lingering questions about the lightsaber hilt and the skirt and codpiece, and despite the fact that it's an Episode III version of the character, I'm gonna go ahead and say this is indeed the greatest Darth Vader figure OF ALL TIMES!

Here's a 245 page thread on my TF site about people just bitching about HTS..

That sounds more awful than the ebola outbreak.

I like the idea of a combined top ten for all the prequels. Not one prequel character cracked last year's overall top ten.

And it'd be less work for Scotty, too. All that extra free time could be used to finish up his abandoned Collect All 92 feature.

1. R5-X2
2. R2-G2

Mark Hamill at the London premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy the other day:

Luke has evidently turned into quite the strange old hermit himself. Either that, or Hamill is also shooting a Ted Kaczynski biopic.

My collecting strategy for the new movies:

1. Go watch the new movie(s)

2. Hopefully enjoy them

3. Go home

4. Maybe buy a new R2-D2 if it can exceed the already pretty goddamn-spectacular Resurgence of the Jedi version from 2010.

5. Continue being smug as all-hell

Where you at, Brad Smith? I think I've listened to MMJ's "Steam Engine" a good twenty or so times today, and I'm not even stoned.

If you just can't get enough of Chris Hardwick, good news! There's a new episode of Talking Dead airing tonight, previewing Season 5.

RedLetterMedia (the same guys behind those super-long, super-critical, super-funny reviews of the prequels) watched the first three Transmorphers all at the same time. Half in the Bag: The Transformers Series

Quote
In the nearly twelve-minute long video, the three hosts of Red Letter Media sit through the entireties of “Transformers,” “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and “Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon” as they play across three screen and the results are pretty crazy. The main takeaway from the little experiment is how closely the structures of the film hew to each other. Story beats across the films — like when Shia LeBeouf’s character is first introduced — happen within seconds of each other onscreen as though the same script is used each time with only small details being altered, like the macguffin being sought.

I'm not a religious person, but if I was, I would thank Jebus every night that he didn't let me get sucked into the Transmorphers stupidity when I was a kid.

Kevin Smith talks Star Wars: Episode VII, confirms Stormtroopers

Quote
If there is one filmmaker who is not hiding his excitement for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars Episode VII, it’s Kevin Smith. The Clerks director is currently in the UK touring animated film Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie along with Jason Mewes and his podcast Hollywood Babble-On with Ralph Garman. Before the show last night in London however, Kevin Smith was invited to the set of Star Wars Episode VII, the details of which he spoke about before the Hollywood Babble-On show.

Smith noted that he had signed a non-disclosure agreement so he couldn’t talk any specifics, but he did say that he saw costumes, characters and sets that took him back to his childhood.

“They had a sign at on the stage – I can’t even say which stage – which had the Imperial Starship logo and it said, ‘loose lips sink starships”.

“I’m really excited and you know, people keep saying that I liked the last trilogy and I did. I liked 1, 2 and 3. But I liked them as an adult, when I watched them they didn’t give me the same feeling I had when I was seven watching them for the first time and that’s fine. This movie though… Dude, I cried four times. The seven year old in me came. [J.J] has ******* captured it, man. He has nailed it.”

Due to the non-disclosure agreement, Smith couldn’t say much more but he gave his co-host Ralph Garman a pad with some words to read out which he then nodded to in agreement. When asked, “did you see Stormtroopers?”, Smith nodded his head with the biggest smile on his face.

Smith also confirmed lightsabres and blasters, but that was pretty much a given.

It'll be so nice to see actual guys in actual suits again.

Look, this woman didn't marry a rotting corpse, alright? Get real. The "Dave Coulier" who just got married and makes other public appearances is either a very good lookalike or an extremely sophisticated android. It is impossible to know either way.

Would you believe I was just going for sheer stupidity rather than some kind of prickish irony?
