Selling currently shipping figures for more than retail is against the rules. Now before you get all crazy and defensive, I know that you purchased this from ebay for $15, but you should have posted that here in this thread as well, before the other forumites get the torches out and come after you.

I want to order a copy, just so I can re-sell it on ebay for $200 after it's taken down from Amazon.

Woah... how cool is this?

Pearl Jam, The Ten Club and CBS's The Late Show with David Letterman
are
excited to offer up this unique opportunity to watch the band perform a
short set immediately following their performance on Dave's show on May
4th
in the historic Ed Sullivan Theatre.  You must be a current Ten Club
member
as of April 19th and live in either New York, Connecticut or New Jersey
to
be eligible.

Here's how it will work-

This is a first come first serve opportunity.  Log on to
www.pearljam.com
Friday, April 21st before 1 PM Eastern time.  Go to the GOODS section
and
LOG IN to your Ten Club account.  Then at 1 PM Eastern, click the
Tickets
category and you'll have the opportunity to obtain 2 tickets to the
show.
Only the eligible Ten Club member will be allowed to pick up the
tickets.
A government-issued ID will be required for entry into the show.

Now here's the best part.  It's free....with a couple of catches.
First,
we're going to ask you for your credit card information.  Your card
will not
be charged, but we need it to verify your transaction.  Second, you
ABSOLUTELY must be able to participate in this event if you are
able to get tickets.  Failure to show up for this event may have an
impact
on whether you are considered for future promotions from the Ten Club.

There are only 350 seats in the Ed Sullivan Theatre, so we only have
175
pairs to give away. These are general admission tickets.  If you are
lucky
enough to get a pair of these tickets, you will receive an email on May
2nd, explaining how to pick up your tickets.  Keep in mind this show
will
take place at 6:00 PM Eastern time in New York City.  Participants will
need to be there by 4:30 PM on May 4th. If you can't make it at that
time,
don't bother trying to get tickets!!!!

Best of luck-
Ten Club Staff

Picked up another full set of VTSC. Now all I need from this wave are a pair of Biker Scouts, for my four-man squad.

Helped a friend pick up the Demise of Grievous and Skirmish in the Senate battlepack at the same Target - I got an employee to pull all three things, the Targets here in NJ have not been putting them out unless you ask.

Hey Pete, whioh Target(s) are you doing this at? All the Targets I've been to in NJ tell me that they can't get anything from the back room  ::)

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: jokabofe's customs updated 4/20
« on: April 20, 2006, 11:13 PM »
OK, so it's been like 6 months since I sat down and did any kind of work on custom figures... but tonight I kinda got the "itch" and picked up an extra animated ARC Trooper that I had, re-positioned one arm, and re-painted him blue. I know Clones have been done to death, but I'm just not tired of doing them yet (plus I haven't done any in 6 months). And I'm always jonesing for new animated style figures... I just love this line.

After looking at the larger versions of the pics, I definitely seem to be a little out of practice with the paintbrush. Oh well, maybe I can get back into the swing of things, if I keep at it again.

I mean they are pretty much doing everything possible to ensure fair distribution of a Con Exclusive

That's true.

But why even have a Con Exclusive, only available to people who are attending a convention in one part of the world? Why not just make it a regular issue figure, if you know that it's going to cause such a backlash? Personally, I feel like GG and Sideshow, and anyone else that has these "Con Exclusives" don't really care about their customers. I'm sorry that I can't take a week off from work to fly out to San Diego for the SDCC, but that means I can't own one of these items? Why not make them exclusive through an online retailer, this way anyone across the US has a chance to order it?

I cannot believe the absolute meltdown conducted by the New York Rangers over the past two or three weeks. Three weeks ago I would have said they have a great chance to actually win the Stanley Cup, now I'm just happy they made it to the playoffs. The Devils look like they are gonna win against Montreal now, which would give them the Atlantic Division title, and push them up into third place, and push the Rangers down to sixth place, and end up with a Devils-Rangers first round. Devils on an eleven game win streak, and Rangers on a five game losing streak... doesn't give me much hope.

This is a nicer promo than the EB set though.

Let's be honest, most of us we're planning on buying a set of VOTC to open.

Plus, it's cool that we're getting a carded Georgie vs. a plain white mailer box.

Yeah, it is nicer than the EB set, by far... but now the problem is that I need a carded GL Stormie AND a loose GL Stormie... so I need to buy 3 sets of vTSC figures to get enough coupons to send in. So I'm gonna end up with an extra loose set that I don't really need.
