Hiya,
GalacticHunter.com has a cool feature on the Endor Ambush set... but of course, since the set is full o'lame re-packs, the interesting part is the new OTC insert!
Check out the GH.com coverage here (http://www.galactichunter.com/absolutenm/templates/full_article_template_1.asp?articleid=2966&zoneid=2) for the Endor Ambush stuff or clicky on the picture below for the Insert goodies:

Nice to see the little package catalogs return!

Thats pretty cool, very nice job they did.

I saw that earlier as well, and thought the little pack in booklet was kind of neat too. I especially liked the "good vs. evil" thing they did, having brief descriptions of a number of key characters. It seems kind of "kiddie", which it is likely supposed to be, but it is also nostalgic in a way too. I like it.

Yeah the kiddie aspect is kind of cute but also hammers home the point once again..."This is not for you, never was for you" ::) ;D
-
Yeah, I kind of thought of that as well....we didn't see packaging captions, etc. so kiddified in the POTJ days that I remember.

I was excited to see the return of the insert... one of my side collections. I've got one of every little insert they've done, including a bunch from Hasbro's GI Joe days too. (The vintage SW Kenner ones were much cooler).
I too, must agree that this little brochure is designed for kids to bring to Mom and Dad to say "gotta catch 'em all!" Proving once again that this OTC wasn't as thrown together as they want us to believe. I'm pretty sure they had all these repacks planned the whole time >:(

Great catalog :D

When I was a kid, reading these little catalogs was such a highlight:
Have this one, have this one, need this one, oooh NEED this one, have this one...
It's great to see them back!
