Hopefully most of us have already bought it.

I was waiting for clearance. This is disappointing news. :-\

As long as they're in the show, I'll buy them. It's a great toy.

I decided to go ahead and get Ki-Adi. I'll post some pics when he arrives! 8)

Oh and Brad, you have a PM. :)

WOW. $17 (plus CA tax, which is crazy). That's just disgusting. I think I'll wait for these to show up at TJ Maxx in 2011.

Hondo was a cool surprise. And I'm REALLY looking forward to Aayla, especially since it looks like with a headswap she could fit in with the realistic stuff (for me the ROTS version has never cut it).

If/when they do make it, I hope they have the foresight to make sure Vader doesn't have his right hand.  ;)

Good point.

Price lowered to $215 shipped, way better than what most of these are going for on eBay (which I'll probably resort to if this doesn't sell here within a week or so).

Question for anyone who owns this figure:

They were handing out gift cards st SDCC that range from $20-$100, and I got a $50 card! I have no Sideshow figures (except for the Han and Luke in stormtrooper disguise I'm trying to sell) but I'm considering this figure to go with their Kit Fisto which I also want, to start a little Jedi collection. Is it any good?

Picked up my first "new" figure at Target last night, the Heavy Assault SBD. Hopefully this means the rest are coming soon!

The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Collection Comic Packs

Yesterday Derryl DePriest was giving a few people at the Hasbro booth including myself a look at the delayed Camie and Fixer figures. He wasn't letting people take pictures so you'll just have to take my word for it, but they looked great and were actually the deleted scene versions rather than the comic book design, which makes me a lot more interested now. I hope they get released soon! 8)

Modern Classifieds / SOLD. Please close. Thanks!

I bought these at SDCC since they said they had some pre-orders that didn't get picked up. I opened them up yesterday but decided they aren't for me (I don't own any other Sideshow products), but I'm sure they'd make a great addition to someone else's collection! I'm asking for $215 shipped. They are 100% complete and were only out of the packaging for a few minutes before going right back in. I paid $210 at SDCC after tax, so I'd say this is a pretty fair price. PM me if you're interested, and thanks for looking! :)

Other Collectibles / Re: Star Wars Autographs
« on: July 26, 2009, 06:44 PM »
Just got back from SDCC! I had an awesome time and met some great people.

I met Dave Filoni right after the Hasbro panel, and got a great autograph on the cover of my guide (it was really the only sign-able item I had with me at the time).

Then a little later I saw Peter Mayhew was doing autographs so I bought one from him. I noticed later on he didn't cross his 't' so now it looks like I have an autograph from Peler Mayhew. :D He was also selling some nice protective cases for photos for $2 each so I bought one to keep the autograph in.

On Friday afternoon I saw a table with James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka), and some other Clone Wars signers, so I bought a picture with Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Ahsoka on it hoping to get it completed since Matt Lanter (Anakin) and Tom Kane (Yoda) would be signing the next day. Ashley Eckstein signed first. She was a very nice and friendly woman who was great talking to. Then I got one from James Arnold Taylor, also a cool guy.

Then I went and bought another protective case from Peter Mayhew to keep the picture in. It wouldn't be my last. :)

The next day I brought the picture back, geeked at the prospect of having the photo completed. Tom Kane was there and signed the picture and did his Yoda voice for a bit. ;D

Then disaster struck. As I was putting the picture back in the case, Tom Kane's autograph streaked across the picture since it hadn't dried yet. It was truly a hideous sight. "Aw crap!" Tom Kane exclaimed as he leaped out of his chair. I watched as he walked over to the other side of the table with my picture, and to my surprise and delight, he was over getting a fresh new picture for me. He signed it, and I insisted that he let me pay for a second autograph but he wouldn't let me. Then he told me he would make sure I get the other actors' autographs. And I guess 'the Force was with me' (yeah, I know, cheesy ::) ) because even though James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein weren't scheduled to appear again, they showed up a little later and with Tom Kane's help, I was given replacements for both of the destroyed autographs. James Arnold Taylor wasn't even behind the table doing signings and he still gave me an autograph! It was AWESOME, and it's really all thanks to Tom Kane so that was really cool. Here's the completed picture:

And of course, I went and bought one more case from Peter Mayhew to keep the new picture in. :)

Just got back yesterday. I had such a great time! 8)

Can I start begging now?

Due to Mattel's incredibly ******* stupidity, Gleek is only available at SDCC.  Since the Wonder Dorks are pointless without their stupid blue monkey, I need someone going to please grab me a Wonder Twins set with Gleek (the twins are boxed and the monkey comes in a bag).  I'll reimburse cost plus a bit extra for your trouble if someone manages to get the complete set.

Let me know if someone can help.

Thanks.

I checked for these on Saturday but they were sold out. Sorry. :-\

Anyone willing to help a board member out with the following SDCC items, please drop me a PM.  I will provide trading references here and on other sites:

Hallmark exclusive ornamants - PRIORITY

I was able to grab a set for you! PM me if you're still interested. :)

That Scanning Crew guy is probably the coolest surprise so far. It looks gorgeous and I'll definitely be buying at least ten. :o  ;D
