Your work is always incredible Fritz.
This is a great figure. Love the show, and the figure.

I now you focus on the militay customs, and this is one of them, in its own right, but any chance of you doing other Heores figs?

Thanks for the feedback Glassman, I don't know if I'll get around to making anymore of the Heroes characters. When I saw the likeness of this 21sdt Century Toys fig, I thought it look too much like Adam, to pass up the opertunity, so I scrapped a Samauri Vader 2.0 to make Kensie.

Star Wars Action Figures / OT Kensei In Samauri Armor

I know this is OT, but I thought you guys would appreciate it. I used the helmet from GTG, and one of the new 21st Century Toys Vietnam heads for the likeness. Let me know what you think.

Star Wars Action Figures / Mon Cal Marine
« on: February 2, 2008, 05:47 PM »
The military forces of the New Republic were a multi-Species force comprised of elite fighting units from all across the Galaxy. The Mon Cal Marines were an elite Amphibous and Aquatic fighting unit. These elite troops of the Mon Cal military were the Spearhead for many New Republic battle plans and in may cases the last line of defense from invading forces.

Star Wars Action Figures / ARC-170 Fighter Camoflauged
« on: January 25, 2008, 11:40 AM »
I picked up a couple of ARC-170s to customize. I was going for a WWII German feel for the Camo pattern on this ARC. Let me know what you think.

How'd you make the little rebel Logo Fritz?

Good old Labell Paper and a PC printer. You can down load the document from Erik's Stormtrooper Gallery.

Jesse James,

Yeah, I had to gring off the rifle amo pouches so, I could plug in the Machine Gun Ammo pouches. I'm not sure how accurate the gear and uniforms are, as I have not found a great reference sorce4 for these customs yet. I've been collecting the German WWII figs since the first run of the 21st Century XD's. Though, a lot of them have become fodder for my imperial customs. My biggest gripe with these figs is there head sculpts. There is a set of Bravo Team Germans starting to show up at Target, they look to have some cool gear, I hope the don't look as cartoony as the Modern Bravo Team figs.

Thank for the feedback.

Star Wars Action Figures / New Republic Troopers
« on: January 20, 2008, 02:06 PM »
After the defeat of Emperor Palpantine, the forces formerly of the Rebellion, gained the financial benefits of the the Galactic Empires over taxed citizens. Armed with better equipment, the forces of the New Republic were better prepared to deal with an increasingly hostile galaxy.

Star Wars Action Figures / Hans, Fritz, and Otto
« on: January 19, 2008, 05:29 PM »
I decide to add a little variety to my 1:18 German troops. The 21st Century heads had really bad paint aps and the sculpts have very little character. I decided to replace them with  BBI  heads. Pretty simple head swaps, but the the figures look 10 times better. LMK what you think.

Star Wars Action Figures / Imperial Recon Speeder
« on: January 16, 2008, 02:30 PM »
The SoroSuub T-54 I.R.S. (Imperial Recon Speeder) is a heavily armed version of the the T-52 Civilian Speeder Truck. Perfect for patroling the skylines of Coruscant or Gliding inches above the sand dunes on Tatooine. This Dual Purpose vehicle is the backbone of the Imperial Motor Pool. It can be fit with a variety of armaments. E-WEBs, Hellfire Missile Pods... This vehicle gives imperial troops the edge they need to knock out Rebel uprisings.

Star Wars Action Figures / 007 Arctic Mission Gear
« on: January 13, 2008, 07:05 PM »
Not a very complicated custom, but I thought the Snowjob body and gear would work perfect for an Acrtic 007 custom.
LMK waht you think.

Star Wars Action Figures / Captain American vs Red Skull WWII
« on: January 9, 2008, 04:41 PM »
This is my second version of a WWII Captain America. A lot of people didn't care for my first choice for the likeness of Steve Rogers. So I went with a suggested likeness. I decided to give him a Super Villian, also set in the WWII theme. Red Skull was a pretty simple head swap. I used dye so that there would be no paint wear from taking his cap on and off. Here are the results. LMK what you think.

Star Wars Action Figures / Senate Guardsman (KOTOR)
« on: January 6, 2008, 03:50 PM »
The Senate Guard was formed shortly after the Republic was etablished. Durring the early days of the Republic the Senate Guard saw a lot more action then their future counterparts. All original senate guardsman were armed with cortis swords, since the sith were the main threat to the senate. They also wore the traditional blue robes and armor that became the standard guardsman's attre until the guad was disbanded buy Emperor Palpantine.

Star Wars Action Figures / OT Captain America WWII (Marvel Ultimates)
« on: December 30, 2007, 12:41 PM »
I know this custom has nothing to do with Star Wars, but I consider this one of my best customs to date and really wanted to share it with you guys.

This is the only version of Captian Americam that really caught my imagination. I've neen trying to come up with just the right combination of parts, to make this work for a couple of years. I feel the 25th Aniversary Torso, was just the piece I needed to make this work. The shield is from the Army of Darkness line with all the rased designs ground off to give it a smooth surface. I printed out a flag decal and placed ot over the smoothed shield for the graphics. I can't paint that symetricly. Lmk what you guys think.
