P.S. How's the flame trooper coming along?

It's coming along, I got a little distracted with these Microman Star Wars customs  :P but I bought some sort of tubing (for bead work or something) that I can use as a hose to attach his flame gauntlet to his backpack.  I think once I attach it I'll just need to paint him up.

What did you use to make the ball joints for Grievous's elbows?

I used Stikfas parts.  For the Grievous I used the upper arm of a Stikfas (every Stikfas Action Figure Kit comes with extras of these) that I cut in half.  You have to sand them down a bit before they fit properly though.  It's not that hard though.

I thought that's what you used, great idea. Nice work on all the figs.  :)

Here's a Microman Boba Fett figure that I made from a Microman figure (obviously) and a Boba Fett Bust-Ups.  I repainted him to a color scheme that I liked.  Unfortuantely the brown color bled through his cape so I don't really like how it turned out, but other than that I like this guy.  These customs are a lot of fun!  8)

thats awesome Gregorbian! Ever cosidered doing a clone trooper or Barc Trooper(same parts from Scout Trooper) using that body? that would be awesome! ;D

Wow, that's amazing! I think the yellow parts are a bit too bright, but it looks like its because of the flash. But still, WOW!

Thanks for the comments guys!  Crazy About Clones, I was thinking about making a Clone Trooper using a Microman base figure, I'd probably use an Ep. II SP Clone for the armor because I wouldn't want to cut up one of my SA Clones  ;)
Diddly - the yellow is a bit bright, I didn't dilute it because I was going to do a bit of a wash over it, but then I forgot to do it until you mentioned it!  Thanks  :P

Unreal... you are taking articulation to a whole new level!  How durable are these latest super articulated customs of yours?

Thanks CHEWIE.  I'm kinda cheating because these Microman figures are so highly articulated; I'm basically just putting armor on them and painting them. ;)
I try to make my customs as durable as possible.  I tend to "pose my figures excessively" (read: play :P) so they are pretty sturdy.  You can pop the various joints off, but, like Stikfas, they are easy to reattach and do not loosen up.

Here are some customs that I've made in the past few days.  I made the requisite SA Commander Bacara (which took a surprisingly high amount of reworking) and used his body to get the armor pieces for a dead (or Zombie) clone.  There's also a Lt. for my custom squad (Lt. Gamma).

SA Commander Bacara:

Lt. Gamma:

Commander Gorb and Lt. Gamma:

Dead Clone (had to do something with the headless Bacara figure):

Comments/advice is always appreciated! ;D

Nice work on the Bacara, he looks great. I love his trooper too, your's is my favorite that I've seen so far. Gamma looks good too, are we going to see a Gorb and Co. Photonovel sometime sone? :)

That dead clone is gruesome! I love it! I think he'd look cooler if he had a helmet, either broken pieces embeded in his head or a whole helmet on the ground. He looks like he was burned or was hit by a chemical weapon, if he was burned, I'd dirty the armor a bit. Or I guess he could be a long dead clone depending on the time you see him, in which case he is fine as is. I really like this one, there doesn't seem to be enough dead people customized. :)

Love the dead Clone!  Excellent slicing and dicing of the armor to fit on him... I almost think he should be like a "fried" Clone or something... I would blacken up the figure itself some, and make some burn marks on the armor.

I have a SA Bacara too now, will post pics soon I hope.
