Ryanski - thanks for the hook up on the Han Trooper this evening.  I checked my carded extras and couldn't find a starkiller, but I do have a carded Concept Han Solo if you're looking for one of those.  Or if you want a loose starkiller, let me know and I'll dig up my loose figs.

Who are the two chicks (up top by Iron Man and down below with her leg extended)?

The Iron Man figures and Skrull all look great.

John

The one on top is Maria Hill.  She took over for Nick Fury as the Director of SHIELD these past few years and is currently in the Iron Man comic as a secondary character.

The one on the bottom is Sharon Carter.  She's an ex-SHIELD agent who was a major character in the Captain America book.  I don't subscribe to that one, but I think she and Steve Rogers (Cap) got pregnant, then some baddie mind-controlled her into killing Captain America towards the end of the Civil War.  I think she lost the baby and maybe even had her memory of killing Cap erased, but like I said, I'm not fully up to speed on that book.

I'd love to get both versions of Iron Man, Hill, Carter, and maybe even Sue Storm as I'm not very happy with me FF2 Sue Storm.  If anyone wants the counterparts from these two packs, please let me know!

Justin

Anyone else think that Yularen fig looks like a chick?  Put your thumb over the head and tell me that's a female action figure body.

I personally think he deserves more credit than blame.  We wouldn't be posting a star wars forum or collecting any of this stuff if not for George.  Regardless of whatever else he does wrong, you can't take that away from him.  I think what he successfully did was to hit on a great story premise with state-of-the-art effects for its time.  Beyond that, I think a lot of the credit belongs to concept designers and other contributors to both the films and the EU universe.

Kryat and Lumiya are probably the two figures I'm most looking forward to coming out of the NYTF.  The spot-on redo of TPM Obi-Wan is a close third.

This just seems really odd for a mail away type offer..

There will be stickers in the 2009 TPM wave of figures - use the stickers to send away for the Eopie.  :)

Hasbro's last mail away was for GI Joe Doc with stickers from the comic packs.  Most of you probably don't know all the drama behind that, but I hope Hasbro has learned a lesson - even though that left a very bad taste in many collector's mouths.  Hopefully this comes with a small brown piece of shiny plastic though.

What happened with the Joe packs?
