I don't know about you all, but I will cancel my $17 basic carded TVC BOBF Luke pre-order the second I secure a Target pre-order for this set...

I had ordered 3 of the basic version of Jedi Academy Luke.  But with the announcement of this?  What I want changes since this set will satisfy my desire to get an opener.  Thankfully I was able to cancel my Amazon order for 3 and place another order for only 2.

I know prices have risen and this has been talked to death, but I still can’t believe this is $28 plus tax and they couldn’t even be bothered to fix his haircut for that price.

Grogu does not make this a 2-pack.  He’s a glorified accessory.

I get the frustration over the price.  I think the broader issue is that the TVC mainline figures are now $16.99 each.  That base price is a substantial factor in Hasbro setting this price.  So does Grogu, a backpack, 7 frogs, a stand, 2 x lightsaber hilts, 1 x lightsaber, the bundle and the chain mail shirt equal $11 in value?  I think relative to a world where the Luke figure costs $16.99 it does.

What a role reversal, it used to be Walmart exclusives that were instantly frustrating for people.

Walmart will at least have the 30 second window for preorders start on time.  Then you have to wonder what condition it will show up in.

Target will also not protect your package...but who knows when the item will go up for presale.
