That's the B.A.D. news that some fans were expecting.  ;)

The awesome Movie Heroes Boba Fett with rocket firing jet pack! (at least it's a good mold) A another barely articulated Battle Droid that (explodes?) splits in two! (how many crappy new battle droid sculpts do the need?)

I'm definitely down for both sets, plus a bunch of multiples of those AT-ST drivers. Looks like Hasbro added holsters, which is great.

Yeah, sure,  Hasbro can add holsters to everyone...except vintage Rebel Fleet Trooper. (Cheap shot of the day.)

Ewok scouts not super articulated? I bet their price will be...wait...that made no sense...their prices will as much as a single carded Ewok. Well, I hope not. 2 pack is an odd deal...ROTJ 2-packs existed but not like that IIRC. In the glorious past, all 4 figures would be a  battle pack, maybe with Chewbacca tossed in.

I see another Anakin...to be expected.  Glad the Clone sgt who was in the film for  .0002 seconds will be getting an upgrade.
(Yeah, that's to be expected, too).

1. Wiorkettle
2. Treva Horme
3. Torryn Far
4. Captain "Our First Catch of the Day" Lennox with removable foot to place in his mouth

5. Luke Skywalker Dagobah fatigues, open/unbuttoned shirt/tunic/jacket...a  costume variant unmade.
6. Snow Trooper Officer
7. Tauntaun wearing Wranglers Tauntaun Wrangler
8. Han Solo Carbonite w/ Block, w/ milk chocolate bar LED's in Block
9. Star Destroyer Crewman
10. Leia Organa - Bespin Escape (jumpsuit)

No Wedge, because we aren't allowed to own him. Why encourage them to make another difficult to obtain figure?

No  "white" IG-88 because they could've made this years ago easily. Besides that;s another lighting argument...was it really a diffferent color than the IG-88 on the Executor?

No deleted scene bacta mask Luke.

I don't agree with that. The one Rebel Transport Speeder I got the other day has sticker residue where the TRU exclusive sticker would be. It's not a lot of residue, but it's there.

Found those two today, one TJ Maxx had 2 cases worth, which meant 2 Rebel Transports and 6 Geonosian speeders.  Got one of the Rebels. Actually saw the carded Red Skull from Captain America for the first time.

I will buy it when I see it and hold onto it and not open it up for three months to see what happens with the mold a little later down the line.

With any luck he'll be recolored neon green and packaged with a spring-action accessory as big as himself in 2013.

Wait, this isn't the GI JOE forum...

Ugh, irritates me so much to think I'll have to shell out like $30 for a Target 3-pack if I want snags... :(

We can add the broken promise of multi-packs either being all new or all repacks to Hasbro's scorecard. Oh, that's right they've broken that one already with Blu-Ray 4-pack's battle droid.

Ah, when cantina aliens used to be underappreciated peg warmers.

Crack is probably more easily obtained.   :D

GI JOE has been running on nostagia's fumes since RISE OF COBRA's line tanked and Hasbro decided to drop movie likenesses in Pursuit of Cobra. They wouldn't commit to a real RENEGADES line (probably with good reason, as the show aired on a channel that's not even part of basic cable packages).

Dashes any final hopes of his packmates being different.  I needed another Boba Fett to blow up with firecrackers, anyway. That mail in one didn't last long.

1. No questions about distribution.
2. No questions about future releases.
3. No questions about retail prices.
4. No questions about the Live Action TV Series (even though we have nothing to do with whether it happens or not)

"So, any questions?"

*Many hands raised*

"Ones that aren't just insults directed at us or Hasbro?"

*One hand remains raised*

"You sir?"

"Yeah, could you take us through the process of how a figure goes from design to final product?"

"We'd be delighted..."(answer takes up 45 minutes of the alloted time.)

I find it hard to believe they'd go all zombie with a classic brand...even just for a wave or a boxed set. It's like the designers came up with stuff they knew corporate/major retailers would balk at.

Steel Wolf good outer design, but why waste the interiour on a motorcycle slot?

The Renegades stuff...interesting, but no Baroness or Roadblock or Mindbender or Flint or Lady Jaye?

Kwinn thing is infuriating. I don't even collecting current stuff, but this in demand version of the character has been wanted for decades now. They couldn't kick some lame figure from a 7 pack and slide him in? Stick him on a Retaliation card? WOULD STORES (read: Wal-Mart, the enemy of collectors) CANCEL THEIR ORDERS? Is that how much power buyers have?

I recall hearing that Paramount wanted no Joes on shelves for six months prior to the film's release. If there's a 3rd movie, time to switch studios, Hasbro. They cost you a lot of money.

Micro Figures...is there enough of a fanbase for these? Probably not. A useless attempt to get kids into a property that has no regular media support. Flopperiffic idea. Should've saved the tooling costs for new 4" head sculpts.
