I've managed to have the petition remain in my sig line by just hyperlinking it with the text:

Check out this petition!

I started a petition page that neither Philip or Greg(g) can close. Lets see how may actually sign up.

http://www.petitiononline.com/scum04/petition.html

I am adding it to my RS sig. Feel free to do so as well

I guarantee that anyone linking that in their sig will be asked to remove it and given a warning.   And Phillip obviously doesn't respond to that sort of stuff...  That being said, I'll sign it and add it to my signature.

As a form of civil resistance I've dropped out of survivor,I don't think the game can go on with two players gone,or can it?

And right on schedule, GNT has locked the thread.

And Phillip the Wise closed it.

Kevin

You beat me to it...

Man he sure brought the hammer down:

His style, his attitude, his "stay on topic every 5 posts"

This is one of my biggest gripes too.   I can understand if a conversation has gone totally off track, but he won't let a conversation evolve or let you make a joke without giving you crap for it.

One time, I believe it was Old Cocky, was talking about this uncle Jesse

So I post an image of this uncle jesse:

I come back an hour later - GNT has deleted my post, without warning or anything.  He didn't edit it - he frickin' deleted it.

Blah.  It's not like I called him a douche bag or anything....

The drama's a heatin' up eh?

Even if he isn't de-modded, which he probably won't be - At very least maybe GNT will take all this trashing to heart and try to tone it down a bit - or ideally, tone it down a lot.

I LOVE the new packaging for the OTC, but am concerned with the abnormally high (even for Hasbro) number of repacks.  And the lack of announcements on actual new figures for the year.

I also LOVE the VOTC idea - but am not happy with the 10$ price (which I understand the reasons for) because I buy two of everything - so I'm looking at $240 plus tax on 12 figures.  And I'm also not happy with the idea that it will be such a limited release - making them (more than likely) difficult to find.

I'm also not thrilled about rereleasing more vintage era vehicles...I mean, I understand it's for nostalgia, but they've been using these molds for decades now.  This would have been the PERFECT time to fix the TIE Fighter and scale it's wings approrpriately, but instead we get the incorrect version, for the fourth time.

Then there was the failure (IMO) of the JMP auctions - and this perposterous fan choice 'poll.'

A few announcements confirming some of the fantastic figures that were on the rumor lists for the last few months would right the ship for me - but at the moment it looks like I'll be spending a fortune this year on 95% resculpts and repacks.  If this is the case, I'll just tone down the completist dial a bit

Phillip sent me a rather nasty email threatening toban me back when I had  a GNT quote as my sig.

Scott and I both got our warnings of being banned this morning from Philip as well, for harrassing the little clown Greg(g)...   ::)

What does Greg(g) have on Phillip to control him over there.  If you talk about Greg(g) then you are harrasing you but he can do whatever he wants and doesn't lose any of his moderation rights.  I'm about ready to type up that petition asking for Greg(g) to either be removed or step down.  All I need now is specific examples of his abuse of powers and people who would be supportive to this move and sign without fearing they will be banned at RS.

Do it!

And post it in the suggestions and feeback forum...

I'm usually pretty supportive of hasbro when people complain about what they do - but I'm with you 100% here.

This has been a very disappointing two or three weeks - and is starting to look like it will be a fairly disappointing year.

:o
 ;)

You can see some Greg stylin' going on over in the Fan's Choice #6 poll at Scum right now.  Good lord.

The best thing about that thread is where Pickles slams him over telling people not to post the scores more than once per page.

Which is even funnier, because Greg's warning came about 9 posts after I requested the same thing - I guess his word carries more weight... ::)

With General Lando and Dagobah Luke done, the only one left on my list is:

Admiral Ackbar - with articulated knees and a big chair to sit in.

Ah,but now that you've voted for Stormie Han, they've added Imperial Scanning Crew Trooper - who has never been carded.

Do people who already voted get their votes back?  Or did they get the shaft again?!

I don't recommend using the sticky tack - it generally will leave oil stains - of course, if you don't care about oil stains on the bottoms of feet - then go for it.

I personally have my five SA clones standing neutrally, with two hands on their guns, and their guns pointed slightly downward - like they're standing around bored that no one is attacking them.

If you just work with bending their feet a little -  they should stand just fine.

I've got about 75 various clones myself - but that's just F'n ridiculous.
