Quinlan is confirmed dead?
Maybe in the comic, but the comics aren't always accurate. In the AOTC adaptation he was seen on Geonosis, and he definately was not there.
EDIT: RIP to the others. I'm still waiting on Vos. :(
-
Technically you can't really confirm Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, or Saesee Tinn, since we couldn't really see the extent of their injuries. Plo Koon (who you forgot to list) could have ejected from his ship. Vos wasn't in the movie, and his death in the comic doesn't really illustrate much - he could have survived that hit. I didn't see Jocasta, in the movie, or the comic. Add Stass Allie to the list of the deceased, as she was definately killed.
-
I took out the maybes.
-
Does anyone else see the irony in a user with the name "Commander Cody" mourning the deaths of the jedi?
:-\
I suppose that, from a certain point of view, Vader killed Anakin we should morn him too?
-
Tell me again why this is in Watto's? Here I thought someone important like Britney Spears or Luke Perry passed on. I was relieved when I opened it and saw it was only Jedi. I can relax now.
-
Oops, didn't realize it was in Watto's last night. Moved to where it belongs.

angry ewok,
surely you're joking about suspecting those jedi to be still alive. They were killed on screen. Dead. You dont have to see a death certificate to know they're dead. Dead. Maul got sliced in two. Dead. Younglings. Dead. Mace, shocked by force lightning and fell 3 thousand stories down. Dead. Fisto, Tinn, Kolar, sliced to bits by Palpy. Dead. Plo Koon blown to bits in his starfighter. Dead. Etc.
I mean, if you think these guys are alive then palpy is a wuss and order 66 doesnt mean anything. You take away all of the impact if you fail to realize their death.

Obviously Obi-Wan and Yoda were both able to survive Order 66...
Luke was able to survive being shocked by Palpatine, as was Yoda. Anakin was able to survive jumping out of a speeder and free falling a few thousand stories in Coruscant. Boba Fett was able to survive an apparent on-screen death... what's to say more Jedi lived than just Obi-Wan and Yoda? This is Star Wars.

'E's passed on! This Jedi is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the floor 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!!
THIS IS AN EX-JEDI!!

Well, you better replace it, then. :P

Coleman Trebor survived the blasts and fall on Geonosis, didn't he?

Yeah, he's alive and well in Jango's apartment.
-
Isn't Sifo Dyas that ice-cream maker guy in Cloud City?
-
Whatever happened to the Coleman Kids? I miss them :'(
Sifo-Dyas was not trained in the Ice Cream ways like Plo Koon was
BTW, that was sort of how the whole ICMG thing started. Someone said that Plo Koon's force power was making ice...seriously... ::)

Everyone grieves differently. Just be there for AE when the floodgates holding back his tears open up.
I, for one, mourn especially the loss of Obi-wan's Boga. :'(
-
I liked that Boga creature. Heck I like all the beasts. Just wish the CGI and his goofy noises were better.
-
That Boga noise echoes in my head...I don't know if its some sort of hynotic suggestion or what, but I can hear it right now if I concentrate...eerie...

I'm pretty sure the Jedi that faced off against Palpatine are considered 100% dead meat. Plo Koon also clearly dies in my opinion. ;)
:P

Liars.

I just hate that my favorite jedi alien - Plo Koon got punked out like that :'(. But now that we've sen him pilot a starfighter, hopefully we'll get one for him :)

Just an FYI, but there are definately plans for Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter (http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=7381.0) in toy form this summer. ;)
ps.
Here's a picture from EE:

I was a little sad to see Plo go down so easily as well, and basically not see him in the movie otherwise. He was one of my favorite "background" Jedi, and I always had a little hope that we'd hear him at least utter one line...just curious what they would make his voice sound like. Oh well, maybe they'll put him in the Clone Wars cartoon when that starts back up :).
-
Well in the book of Rots Kit gets his head chopped off, so does Tinn(So does a little part of his horn), Agen gets it right through the fore-head...if they included that, well.
Rots would be way cooler.
Personally I feel remorse for Gree and all the other clones that died, I only feel remorse for Aayla...damn you bly!
-
:'( I feel so bad for yoda and Obi-wan because they wer not one with the force and they stayed alive.
-
I have a feeling tht Obi-Wan and Yoda will become one with the force, in say future episodes. :P
-
Coleman Trebor survived the blasts and fall on Geonosis, didn't he?
You forgot Adi Gallia and Colman Trembor was mortally wounded.
-
Coleman is dead.
Jango's Blazing blasters saw to that.
-
I have a strong feeling Mace is alive somehow, somewhere out there.
-
I heard he left the order, got married and had twin sons. One of known as the Ice Cream maker guy and the other is a smooth talking smuggler with a flare for betrayal.
-
You've obviously all forgotten the true story of Plo Koon's demise:
Ice Cream Maker Guy learned his trade from Jedi Master Plo Koon in the late stage of the Galactic Clone Wars. The following is the touching final scene from Star Wars Episode III: Attack of the Cones
ICMG: Master Koon you can't die...
Koon: No more training do you require, already know you that what you need.
ICMG: Then I am a frozen treat expert!
Koon: When gone am I, the last of the Ice Cream Men will you be, guard your Maker with your life...
Plo Koon breathes his last breath and melts ala Toht in Raiders of the Lost Ark. A single tear rolls down ICMG's cheek as he boards his spacecraft for Bespin. The camera pans with his craft as it enters hyperspace.
FADE OUT
END CREDITS OVER STARFIELD
-
yeah, why do you call plo koon a ice cream maker? ???
-
It is one of those things that comes up. Plo Koon force powers being related to cold and the ice cream maker guys, well 1+1=2
