If you were stranded on a desert island, and you had a iPod or CD Player with only 5 albums on it, what would they be? My picks:
1. Kill Em' All- Metallica
2. IV- Led Zeppelin
3. Dark Side Of The Moon- Pink Floyd
4. 1- The Beatles
5. Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller)- Captain Beefheart
:P
-
1: Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
2: Bon Jovi - Crossroads
3: Nickleback - The Long Road
4: A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms
5: Eminem - The Eminem Show
-
1) A Trick of the Tail - Genesis
2) V - Spock's Beard
3) Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, Howe
4) Let it Be - The Beatles
5) Head - The Monkees
-
(in no order)
Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage
Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - Of Natural History
Tool - Lateralus
I hope double albums count. :)

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks, or The Times They Are A-Changin

Greatest hits do/do not count?
::)

Not for me...I see Beatle's 1 get listed and I don't think that is fair
-
Yeah, I think including compilation albums in these types of lists is bogus.
I hope double albums count. :)
They should. If they do:
1. Wilco - Being There
2. The Beatles - The Beatles (The White Album)
3. Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
4. The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
5. Pink Floyd - The Wall
If they don't:
1. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
2. Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
3. Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
4. U2 - The Joshua Tree
5. Liz Phair - Exile in Guyville
-
Agreed
Here's mine:
The Beatles: Rubber Soul
Pearl Jam: Yield
Tom Petty: Wildflowers
Neil Young: Unplugged
Wilco: Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

Do we have a solar powered battery or something for our music player on this island? Or else we would only get a few plays at the most and then that's it. Cd's would be more useful for signaling planes and ships;D
Seriously though,
Urban Hymns - The Verve
Blonde on Blonde - Bob Dylan
Hot Rocks - The Rolling Stones
Alicia Keys - Songs in A Minor
Jackie Brown Soundtrack
-
No Code- Pearl Jam
Master of Puppets- Metallica
Mirror Ball- Neil Young
Hotter Than Hell or Alive!- Kiss
II- Led Zeppelin
-
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Pink Floyd - Animals
Pink Floyd - Meddle
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Im biased :P
-
Greatest Hits, Double Albums, and Compilations count. And lets just say you had a solar powered CD Player or iPod.
-
1. The Fragile - NIN
2. Tool - Anema
3. And all that Could Have Been - NIN
4. Fear of a Black Planet - Public Enemy
5. Audioslave - (self titled)
-
I prefer the original sound of vinyl over modern technology but with modern technology my choices would have to be:
Led Zeppelin: The Complete Studio Recordings
Led Zeppelin: MP3 Project
Led Zeppelin: Studio Sessions
All I need are three! ;D
