Matt, did you get your Luke on eBay?

I should have hopped on the wagon sooner. Prices are going back up now...

Bit the bullet and BINed one... Reasonable price, wish I could have got one for less, but I can live with it. I screwed up big time, and missed the end of an auction by a fet minutes, and could have saved about 10 bucks. Oh well :)

Now, how's about a Boba Fett......  ;D

Those Kubrick Display Boxes are finally out. Here is some of mine.

I'm so happy because now I don't have to stand them up evertime there is an earthquake, which seems like every other day recently. They lock together really nice and they look great. The only problem was IG-88. He's too tall for the box so I had to sit him down.

I bought mine at a store in Tokyo. They aren't limited edition like the Lukes.

Very cool.  Thanks for the head's up Simon!  Bummer about IG-88 though.  Can you at least stand him up, but just lean him forwards or backwards in the case (at an angle)?

Couple buck a piece though...  Hmmm...  I'll have to think about it.  So they're not available in any other quantities, other than just 8?  They do look nice though, and I really like how they all attach to eachother.  That is a foot peg on the base of each case as well, correct?  Might have to wait 'til I have this next wave in hand though, but I'm sure I'll fold on buying some soon enough...

Maybe we should all pool together and see about trying to buy a large set from a deal. I could start out with about 20 (2 series of 8 with chase figures, 4 early bird figs)

Also, does anyone want to see if we can get a bulk discount on custom cases for the carded Kubrick figs?

Oscar Didier makes cases for all sorts of Star Wars stuff, and Im pretty sure he can custom make them to requested sizes. Plus, you're supporting another really great Star Wars collector http://www.kennertoys.com/cases/

There's also Cloud City's Toy Cases
http://www.toycases.com/

If we could get a bulk discount, I'd go ahead and get two, and set one aside for when I oneday fork over the bank for a Boba ;)

Well I think my Kubrick collection is over 40 now...I have a hunch Einstein and Big Bird won't fit either

I'd be in on some bulk ordering though :-*

Nope.  My chase chasing is limited to McFarlane and Marvel Legends.  If I'd have lucked out with a Boba from the cases we split, I'd probably be in, but too much to go too far back for.  I'd rather spend my money on the early bird set.
