No removable helmet, but more articulation.

What additional articulation is this Vader supposed to have? From pictures it appears it's a straight repack of the TAC ANH Vader, with a new head sculpt.

If I had to guess it is Wrists like the DSII Luke and like many of the recent GI Joe figs have had. Possibly even Ball jointed hips but that is all that is left (except his "Toes" which is what someone said behind me at the Panel)

Will these also be "modified" re-releases with the new style card-backs? I don't think Hasbro truly understands the concept of a straight re-release, while the figure inside may be the same, if the cardback isn't the same (both front and back) then it's not a re-release and someone still looking for the figure, as it was originally released needs to keep looking.

At the Panel they stated that these would be Straight up Re-Releases, no changes on the card, no changes on the figures.

May I make a suggestion? If the picture is blurry, don't post it.

They aren't "blurry" they are the beginning of a "Dream Sequence"......

This is what happens when I am taking photos and not Rob, Jesse or Jeff.

Also for the HangOut/Happy hour, why not that Bar in the Lobby at Javits.  We will all be there anyway and don't have to spend time travelling.

I got some decent shots of these last night.

Any requests of specific figures let me know.

There was a guy camped in front of the case when I was trying to get pics basically giving the entire history of GI JOE:RAH to the Poor Hasbro guy.

Of note, on that display piece for the 501st trooper, you can actually see a hint of yellowing already on the helmet.

I will see if I can get a couple good lighting shots of that for you.

The Luke has the face/hat scultped together on this one.  The giant scarf is removable as well as the goggles.

I will try to engage someone tomorrow to see if he is scarred or not.

Sitting on the runway. I guess there are issues about landing up I the NYC area, something about traffic.

Assuming my socks stay dry when I get there, should have some day 1 photos tonight.

Well with those shots and The GI Joe 7 packs, my trip to New York just got superfluous.  Canceling the flight to save for Death Star Troopers.   I may take my 30th AC version for size comparison.

And those little things are "squenkies" if I had to guess.

Redskins 3-1
Giants     3-2
Cowboys 2-2
Eagles     1-4

 8)

A great weekend for Cowboys football, they didn't give up a 4th Quarter lead.  That is what I call progress.  Sadly they did not cut Tony Romo, that is what I call disturbing.

I'm going to wear a black tshirt with Wolverine on it and not bathe... I should stand out right?

Or, I'm getting a shirt printed up that says Jedidefender.com on it.  If you find me you get drink tickets.

Who knows....

Yes once we get a list of who is going to be in and around I will PM you guys my Cell Phone number (feel special yet?) and we will try to hook it up.

I was going to try to set something up at a bar, but instead we can just figure it out when we get there.

Michael Rex, be warned my wife wants to meet you.... and she will probably come to the Happy Hour so everybody feel free to bring a plus 1....

I still afraid Jerry is going to trade the 1st round pick for Randy Moss.   (yes I know he is a free agent.)

Romo is the Lebron of the NFL.  Except without the talent.  Mostly just the not playing all 4 quarters.

I forgot to vote, do you think Hasbro will re-open the balloting for me?
