I've talked to a few "experienced" people about it and in past, they have given away back packs, but I'm bringing one anyway to carry stuff.  Just easier to be prepared.  If I get a free one, great, but if not, no big.

I think there will be lots of free, small things - cards, small posters, nothing expensive really but it would make sense.  I noted Burger King has a booth, so maybe we can pick up the exclusive there?  As for the poster tube, probably not a bad idea, but I'll wait and see what I end up with.

Hey Matt Coleman and your roomies-
I have started baking cookies tonight, but now I'm wondering if any of you have any special "diet" requirements- e.g. vegetarian, vegan, peanut allergies, etc.
Let me know... and Chris told me there are four of you to split the bounty...
You are starting to damage my calm.

Anything that makes Colman fatter is good by me :D  Well, by corollary that would make me fatter too, but hey, it's the price we pay.

Hey guys, can't wait to meet as many of you as possible. I'm going with a crowd from the yahoo group The Star Wars Fan Club and I hope to meet you guys. I won't be getting in until late thursday so I'll be there Fri, Sat and Sun.
On friday I plan to wear my new t-shirt that has the imperial insignia and the words Imperial Domination on it. Got it from walmart last week. So if ya see a tall guy with glasses, beard and that shirt, it's me.

I'd also like to make an important announcement...  The shoephone is dead.  I repeat, the shoephone is dead.

Yes, after how many years, and how many incoherent conversations that I've had with you all, we finally got new cell phones, and a kickass new cell phone plan too!  So I've got all the minutes I could ever need, and no roaming or long distance now, so I can chat with you fools all week long in Indy.  So call away!  8)

More of a small penis party, considering Colman is leading the charge, but I suppose that's just a detail (albeit a small one).

Why are you my roommate again...?!   >:(

Don't make me do it...

Yeah, they are chocolate chips, just want to be sure no one is vegan or anything... and as I told DSJ, while I love you guys, I at least should get a drink in return for all this work ;)
I'm not baking the brownies until tomorrow as they are a softer food item...

Yeah, a BIG drink... not some little girl amaretto sour or something... But, we aren't talking about a yard stick type of thing... it doesn't take me much to get drunk... just please make sure I get back to my room... ;)

A yard stick, reminds me of my younger days drinking beer from a yard or a boot plus drinking for the quarter at the bottom of the beer jug.     ;D

Couple of questions for the meet-up at Hooters.

What time do you guys anticipate staying there until?  Will there be any other possible organized activities?

I just found out that the 501st moved their leadership meeting to Weds night at the same time as the JD thing at Hooters.  It starts at 8pm and I need to go to that, so I'll be trying to best figure out how to hit both (JD first then 501st) or the other way around.  Just wondering which one will give me more time.

Thoughts?

 ;D

Um, till closing.  How late is Hooters usually open, anyway?  Matt?  (May as well ask the guy that knows.   ;))  OK, smart ass comments aside, I think we'll be at Hooters as late as the crowd feels like it, where I'm assuming we'll just kick up our feet and shoot the ****.  So head on down whenever you're available.   :)

Organized?  I doubt it, someone suggested wearing nametags, but I he was told we're geeky enough without them.   ;)
