Title: Hasbro Pulse - New Brand Site For Fans
Post by: Jesse James on June 25, 2015, 09:32 PM
Hasbro Pulse Website (http://www.jedidefender.com/modx/index.php?id=1682)

Click the linky above to read...  Basically though, Hasbro's started a more direct "fan site" to connect with fans of their various brands and such.  They're promising inside design process stories, feature stories on people like Stephen Hayford and his photo-art (which is already up on the site and good to read), Fan polls, and product reveals.

Check it out...  It officially debuts tomorrow but is live now.

I apparently just learned that Bossk was in Jabba's Palace... might need to move one of the figures over just for the hell of it.

Yeah he's there chillin', and on the sailbarge too.  Having booze.  He, of course, left to sun himself before the thing blew up.  Imagine his surprise at the walk back to the palace.  However, he doesn't mind because he's a lizard so he enjoys the sun.

Like we need another site about toys that you can't buy at retail.

Pulse is ironic, considering how near-dead Star Wars has been at retail.

Dengar was in Jabba's palace, too.

Being in the barge means Bossk is dead. Fett is dead. The Rebo Band is dead. Luke and Leia murdered them without remorse, proving the are Vader's spawn.

Well, the Pulse isn't just aimed at Star Wars: there's Joe, Transformers and My Little Pony... so maybe some of those have been keeping the pulse?  Probably MLP.  My daughter is big into these now, so I'm still buying Hasbro product when there's no SW to buy.

Forgot to post this - on Monday, I got one of the "Hasbro Pulse Welcome Kit" mailers that Hasbro sent out...  exclusive TFers comic (Hasbro Pulse variant cover), thank you card and a "VIF" (Very Important Fan) badge.

I saw some snark on twitter noting the timeliness of the VIF badge (wear this at SDCC... even though it was two weeks ago), but I'm willing to forgive them on that... there's always next year's show! :P

Cool stuff Jeff!  Do you know if the comic has exclusive content or just an exclusive cover?  I subscribe to all the IDW Transformers titles, but haven't kept current with the storylines for a while now.   :-\

No idea.  I think it is just a variant cover.

Is this site defunct?  I signed up but haven't received news in months.  Never got a welcome kit.  And I get all my news from you guys and other fan sites.
