Where do I get clear primer for plastic? Every place has primer plus paint but not just primer.

« on: August 8, 2015, 03:59 PM »Resin has to be cleaned really well before painting, and should definitely be primed first with automotive primer. Otherwise it's no different than plastic.Can I use rubbing alcohol to clean it? And will acrylic paint hold?
Really plastic should be washed and dried thoroughly too, but resins usually have mold release agents on them that definitely need cleaned off. But anything to be painted should be prepped first with a good cleaning since it'll have oils/residues off your hands that inhibit paint adhesion.

« on: August 8, 2015, 11:10 AM »Saw the Fantastic Four reboot last night. Was not the worst movie I have ever seen, but it wasn't good either. Definitely left me at the end thinking "that's it?!?"Why do fantastic four movies do so poor?
If you were even thinking about giving this movie a chance, don't, save your money, watch it when it comes to cable and had such a cheap cable deal that one of the HBO channels is practically running it on repeat.

I am attempting to modify a Jango Fett jet pack for a Captain Rex custom but I hit a roadblock. I don't want to drill a hole into the him because that looks awful. I drilled it down to where it fits snug up against his back but now I need help on how to keep it there.

I am overwhelmed by all the brands of paint on the market. I've read testors not drying and Tamiya coming off before it fully cuors. Can anyone post links of a brand that they use?
