I finally found Boba and R2 in store, so I can cancel my eternal preorder. They had at least 4-5 each, a welcome change from the usual. Still wish they would give us at least one unmade character from the show one day…

I managed to find an R2-D2 in store the other day.  And sure enough the next day I got the notification from Target that the two I ordered back in September are finally shipping, hopefully arriving on Thursday.

Boba Fett has updated and is estimated for a June 2nd delivery date.

Just got the shipping notice for Artoo.  So everything is in the mail and better late than never.  Glad these didn’t turn into a headache.

I got an update on my order.  Now it seems that both R2-D2 and Boba Fett will arrive on Thursday.

Still no word on the Black Series Droids Boba Fett or the other MIA Target exclusive Black Series figure.

Got my shipping notice for Fett, and found both him and R2 in store today. I guess Threepio will end up being the hard-to-get one.

My Boba Fett and R2-D2 arrived yesterday.  I see a heavy book and a star case in Boba's future with the curve of that card.  Thankfully there's no crease on it.  Oh, and carefully peeling that Target stock label off the back.

Ordinarily I would be excited to have these arrive.  But in this instance I just feel relief that they actually arrived at all.

I've been reading that there's a variation on the Droids Boba Fett.  One version has the Wookiee braids and another does not.  I looked at my two and they both have the braids.  Does anyone have the version without them?

So Target shipped my two Boba Fetts last Monday and there's no sign of them.

They shipped my R2-D2s last Wednesday and they showed up this past Saturday.

The tracking for the Boba Fetts only shows that they arrived at a Fed Ex smart post in Grove City, Ohio.  Does tracking stop at that point for Smart post?

Smart Post will usually get the package to a regional USPS distribution center.  And from there you should be able to track it via USPS tracking.

Thanks Nick.  I guess it's still odd that there's no Fed Ex tracking update on this.

A lot of my Smart Post shipments from EE show the initial handling.  And then it disappears until it gets to the regional USPS facility.
