TV-9D9 / Re: Star Wars Rebels - Season 2 (Spoilers)
« on: March 4, 2015, 02:25 PM »
Gellar will be the new Inquisitor (mara jade possibly)   :)

and i did notice there is a curvature to Ahsoka's new sabers when she was coming down the ladder. who else had curved saber hilts? Ventress. so wondering if there was sometime in between her departing the Jedi Temple and Rebels that Ahsoka and Ventress spent together. who knows what if Ventress also had a hand in starting the Rebellion.

Some people may or may not have liked Starkiller, but i think most people liked the storyline of the first game anyways. but i'd like to see that character somehow re-intro'd into Rebels.

i don't understand why take a well known character that has a comic 'history' and change them, why not just introduce a new character. Seems like no creativity there. If what we're left with is changing up the male to female or 1 race to another and thats the level of creativity we've hit then its sad day.

now how does clean guy know who rick is?
i haven't read any of the comics, and i don't care if anyone throws out any spoilers, we all know tv can change anything in comics.
i'm thinking that whats his name from the very first episode that saved rick has run into clean guyand perhaps is part of his group.
very boring episode
but i guess it can't all be action
i'm guessing they must be going thru as many backroads as they can to get to DC, but i guess that can hold as many dangers as taking a main hwy. run out of gas, water, n food with no towns big enough to resupply and u'll just starve.
The group needs to pick up more onesy, twosey people on the trip and stop killing off main characters. The group needs more red shirts.

1 of these days i'll find the video (its on tape  :-[ ) of the main jedi guy actually loosing his grip on the light-up saber and accidently flinging the saber behind/off the stage. but i'll give the guy credit he kept on going with the performance. no one yelled or screamed so i guess it didn't hit anyone on the other side. me n wife were sitting behind the soundboard guy and he was laughing his a$$ off.

if beth 'got it' i'm glad cuz i sure the hell didn't. wtf. she was in the clear to freely leave. i'm sure when she was thinking of stabbing her that she wasn't going to get popped in the head especially when it was only a flesh wound at best with the siccors to the shoulder, it wasn't a life or death wound. but still u knew that was going to make the getting out of there situation that much more difficult. pointless death.

saw this last night with my 10 year old girl and 6 year old boy and they loved it. Of course their favorite scene was near the end when baby Groot was dancining in the pot. And unfortunately my lil guy was about to pee his pants cuz it was such a long movie for him so we missed the end credit scenes.  :'(
But in all i loved it, VERY funny and i'm glad i went in not knowing anything about these characters so no preconceptions or comparisons to comic book versions. The part i loved the most was how much my kids enjoyed it. There was no squirming in the seats or falling asleep, lots of laughs from them.

The Original Trilogy / Re: Luke's Bespin "Fatigues"

ya i kinda thought the same thing, it being more casual military outfit. even thought about army building Luke figures just to make more soldiers for some Diorama stuff.

i suppose my initial reaction was harsh, i got used to the amored look of the last trilogy, this just looks like a reminder of the older version with molded rubber muscle suit to me. i mean is superman vs. batman 2 going to have bats with nips on the suit? it does look like he came walked right out of one of the comics so i'll give it that its a realistic interpritation of that and d@m good looking, i was just hoping for something more realistic.

great episode
the onl thing i didn't like
Director Coulson? really?!?!?! just doesn't have the same ring to it as Director Fury. And did Fury just paint a big red target on Coulsons head by doing that. I mean isn't SHIELD basically considered a terrorist organization now, and Coulson is now handed the keys.

bat suit epic fail
looks cartoonish
batmobile not bad at all
