I'm sure you guys have seen these before, but here's an email I just received from "ebay"

* Misrepresentation of Identity (User) - Representing yourself as another eBay user or registering using the identity of another.
Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are prohibited from using eBay in any way. This includes the registering of a new account.
Please note that this suspension does not relieve you of your agreed-upon obligation to pay any fees you may owe to eBay.
According to our site policy you will have to confirm that you are the real owner of the eBay account by completing the following form or else your account will be deleted.

http://www.ebay.comWell, it's nice that ebay is policing such things, but unfortunately I've never done what they are suggesting. Ergo, I believe this to be a scam of the first order. The form to fill out is quite nice with all sorts of ebay links and logos, all of which would be pretty easy to duplicate with pretty minimal knowledge of HTML. Well, that and a click and paste.
If indeed it turns out to be true, no big deal to me. Though I would like to know where this supposed violation occurred? Ahem.
