Apparently later in the year, Lego is going to insert 10,000 vac-metalized C-3PO minifigs into random SW Lego sets. And then there will be a random drawing where 5 people will win a 14k gold C-3PO figure.

Sounds pretty cool. I hope I can find one, but I won't be disappointed if I don't get one.

Pretty neat. I remember LEGO doing something like that for the Bionicle line, too. Will these be in every 2007 set? Even the Battle Packs?
-
From the price point alone, I think ALL the UCS Falcon sets should have at least a vac metalized version included.

Thats pretty cool. Looks good.

did anyone get a C3po Lego in a white bag. the only time i was able to get one was Friday. it says 1 of 10,000 but i don't think they gave away that many...
-
If you got that gold 3PO in the bag, congrats. The little bugger is pure gold on the bay. Keep him sealed. ;)

I believe the 1-10000 refers to the total which includes those randomly inserted in the new larger Lego sets at retail. Has anyone gotten one that way? It sure is gold on e-bay. Anywhere from 150.00-200.00. I love Legos but for a 2 inch plastic figure? No way those will go up in value if you buy one at 200.00. What kind of disposable income does it take to buy 1 of those? Tons of bidders too!

are the sets labled with a special ad for the gold 3po?...
-
I myself haven't seen any specially labeled sets. I had read in the Lego ad that #7654 and #7655 are not included.
