Well, we could go get Bio Diesel cars today if we wanted to, even if it's not a solution.

I have to use the premium stuff for my car, so I am at 2.90 in the area.  Saw on the news tonight that fuel could reach Katrina prices again this summer.  F*ck the Middle East and the conservative enviromentalists.  I say we tap into our own resources in Alaska.

Tapping Alaska wouldn't do anything other than keep a certain amount of the money we're spending in our billionaire's pockets instead of theirs.

What we need is a viable, alternate source of energy to get off of this crap once and for all.

I'm going to break my own rule and copy a post I made on another forum - because I'd rather discuss it here anyway...

Here's how I feel about it...

Exxon just knocked Wal-Mart out of the top spot on the Fortune 500. They made the largest profits of any company in the history of the country for whatever quarter or time period was being measured. Every week we're given a new reason - once it was because of a thwarted (yes, that's right THWARTED) attack on a Saudi pipeline. One week it was because of a hostage crisis in Nigeria of all places... The price of oil is decided on a futures market - and we've gotten to a point where just about anything and everything is supposedly enough to 'worry' investors and send the price up.

Fact is, that when gas was $3.30 or so a few months back - Congress started asking questions. Within a few weeks of a bunch of Oil Executives being marched down to Capitol Hill, gas had dropped in price about 40% down to just a hair under $2.00.

But since then it has creeped right back up - today I saw a station selling gas for $2.92 - these guys are gouging, and we're stuck until someone in Washington decides to start asking questions again and actually do something about it. End of story.

Sex fiends and kid touchers using the internet for their own deviant purposes.  That's an internet problem, and not one that's exclusive to MySpace.

That's a societal problem, not one that's exclusive to the internet.

Hmmm... I think it was our Football league where I was mad that I couldn't drop Jamal Lewis and Dressel told me that he could do it for me if I really wanted to.

Maybe it's more ghetto for the Hockey leagues...

I'm pretty sure that Brent could drop Vokoun for you if you wanted him off your team.  The can't-cut list can be worked around if you really wanted to cut someone on it.

Well, if anything, they'll just cancel the order. I never knew Amazon and Target to be in cahoots with one another, because the deal was originally on Amazon, who has a history of pricing errors.

They must have some sort of working relationship, because I logged into Target.com with my Amazon username and password and payment information.

In any event, I have my email confirmation now for the Rocky Sets (I ordered an extra for my co-worker) and if they don't honor it I suppose I'll start making phone calls...

Did you check out my shrine? I left out the fact that I was last years Fantasy Football Champion. Maybe I should go back and fix it?

Kevin

Let's split hairs...  I was last year's fantasy football champion.

Han in the most disappointing figure in the bunch in my opinion. Same head sculpt, legs, holster and hands (modified for this sculpt) as the first VOTC and his shirt sculpt doesn't quite capture Han's look in ROTJ.

Different head sculpts.  Although I'd say I kind of wish they'd have just used the first head-sculpt in this instance, it looks better IMO.  With the coat on I'd say that the Han is my second favorite of the bunch.

I've been to over 25 DIFFERENT stores this weekend spanning almost 80 miles worth of driving and didn't find a single noteworthy item.  To this day I haven't seen Cody or VTSC or Scorch or any UGH figures in the stores - all I've seen are a bunch of Yodas and Jangos adn Poggles and Hoth Wave and it's been this way for almost 6 weeks now.  I only have a Scorch and some of the Coruscant wave thanks to the help of a few good samaritans.  In 10 years of collecting I can't remember being this frustrated trying to find figures in stores.

I was afraid it meant infinity.   >:(

So if I follow, it just can't be calculated for the specific intance but it can be factored into my team's overall WHIP and ERA.
