You'll absolutely love AD Season 1 - I guarantee it.

Don't count on it, it's rare that Cory likes any of my favorite stuff.    :-X

Target has the Escape from New York SE on sale for $10. Couldn't resist picking it up.

I bought it yesterday as well.  I was suprised to see a nice edition of it for so cheap.

I also picked up Wolf Creek - and my dad sent me Grizzly Man in the mail as a gift because he liked it so much.  Which was cool because it was on my short list anyway.

Pretty false general conception which everyone likes to play up to, when the fact is, I roughly own about 1/2 of the movies you do, and seen the other half, and don't think they're worth owning, but may have liked.

"Grizzly Man" is the most intolerable documentary I have ever watched, and Timothy Thompson got what he deserved, frankly.

Nevermind that your second comment lends extra credence to my first comment... and nevermind the absurdity of your 'take' on Grizzly Man and the fate of Timothy Thompson...

...I can't definitively comment on it until I watch it, but my dad is a psychologist and growing up around that puts another level of interest into this guy and his story for me - there's a lot more to it than documenting a guy who likes to hang out with bears or whatever the case may be.  But Warner Herzog is a bastion of German Avant Garde filmmaking with over 40 years of experience to his credit, so I've got reasonably high expectations for the film.

Only thing he'd be known for in the states is "The Wrath of God", I think. As for "Grizzly Man", I don't have much tolerance for hippies who try and bridge a gap between bears and humans. The guy was obviously mentally unstable.

Guy may have been a little loopy, but that doesn't mean he "deserved" to be eaten by a ******* bear.

God damn.

Well, no need to watch it now.

Nobody deserves to be eaten by a bear but if you choose to hang out with them, make sure you have life insurance.

Eh, it's pretty common knowledge, what happened to him.  It's even mentioned in the opening moments of the trailer.

But, if I've ruined the experience for you, my apologies.

(BTW, Darth Vader is Luke's father, Bruce Willis is a ghost, and the chick is really a dude.)

Bruce Willis is a ghost

I've seen all three Die Hard movies and Bandits and didn't catch any moment where Bruce Willis became a ghost.   ???

Or did you just ruin 16 Blocks for me.   >:(
