Aaron Rogers is in the last year of his rookie contract, if they don't go with him this year, they run the risk of him walking via free agency and then they're out a 3 year investment and potential Favre replacement.

I get where they're coming from, but we're talking about one of the greatest QB's in the history of the frickin' game, coming off of one of his best seasons ever.  It's a lot to give up for Aaron The-3rd-Year-Back-Up Rogers.

Don't forget that the Packers have a long history of trading away Favre's back-up QBs:  Kurt Warner, Aaron Brooks, Matt Hassleback, Mark Brunell, Doug Pederson, & Steve Bono are all former Favre back-ups that were traded away during Favre's tenure.  It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see them deal Rogers instead of Favre.

The guy still has some game.  I can understand both sides of this story, except that the Packers are not giving him his release.  What would it hurt them if they are ready to move on?

I was totally in the camp of Favre being an arse about the whole situation, but heard from a few people recently that the Packers may be a little more at fault here than people realize.  Sounds like they were on his case immediately following the Giants game and may have forced him into an early (and obviously unwise) decision about his retirement.  If you had any remote doubt about it, why wouldn't you stay on until you were sure like he has in prior seasons?

I also heard that he's been trying to talk to them about this for a few months now and its only now going public because they haven't been giving him any answers one way or another.  Either way, there are lots of FB players that come out of retirement, so I don't think its fair to single Favre out as a bad guy for wanting to play again.  if the Packers are smart, they'll trade him to another team and get some solid talent or draft picks that they wouldn't have otherwise received if he flat out retired.  I think they have to play him or trade him (maybe trade AR instead?) - its a complete waste to just drop him and not get anything out of the deal.

This movie was awesome.  Tons of action, great plot twists (some predictable, but not all for me), and I honestly thought the movie was about to end about 40 minutes before it actually ended.  Just when you think they're wrapping it up, there's a twist and the story goes on.  Special effects are top notch and great acting by majority of the cast.  I'm not a fan of Wayne's love interests in this or Batman Begins, but that's about my only complaint from either movie.

As for Ledger and the debate over how good his performance is - he makes a damn awesome Joker.  I really liked Nicholson's take and Ledger surpasses even that.  Obviously psychotic and funny, but they made him every bit as wise as Batman instead of just a complete lunatic.  In fact, I thought he came off more "creepy smart" than psychotic for most of the movie.

Anyway, this was definitely worth the wait and my 2nd favorite movie of the year behind Iron Man.

Congrats Jayson, Justin (through trade), and Brian on your Series 9 scores!

Hey Jeff, did those other two cases every make it up to MN from OH?

Thanks!  I went a little Kubie-overboard.  Between the box from Jeff, a spare Obi, and Jay's Maul and Qui-Gon, I spent about $120 on Kube-crack Wednesday.   ::)  Oh you wicked Kubie sellers talking to me during the Hasbro lull...

Had my first box opening tonight and got one of the four duds  :( but Jayson was good enough to swap his extra Yellow clone for my whitey so all is good.  ;D  The 4th box that went to someone else (Brian?) had the Shaak Ti.

Obi-Wan and Jango are amazing - I even had to buy up a spare Obi.  Thanks again to Jeff for ordering and organizing all our purchases!

I was getting really worried again because i opened my box starting with what you had listed at #4 but got nothing. everything was pretty much reverse.

Here is how things worked out for my Master Case:

Box 1 2 Yellow Clones

Box 2 Shaak Ti

Box 3 (nothing)

Box 4 (nothing)

So 2 yellow clones for me. Not sure if its a fluke or not but it should help in the fund so get myself a Zam.

Almost exactly reversed - did one of you just open a different side of the master case?  If so, that would make the boxes identically except for the missing yellow clone in one of Jeff's boxes.
