Yeah, I thought there were Snowtroopers, but I don't recall seeing any Flametroopers.

Could the Flametroopers have been in the hangar among the millions of troops where they take Finn and Rose?

I think it's plausible in the hangar one might've been there hanging out.  maybe.

One of the Lego sets my son received for Christmas is the new scout walker.  Still trying to figure out if it made it into the movie.
This is the way.

I don't believe it did, or at least that I saw. Looked for it on subsequent viewings.

Someone told me it was a concept that got axed from the movie.  It's in the Art Of book though.

I had been wondering about that, too.

When I finally saw the movie and got the visual dictionary things started to become a little more clear.  Specifically, about the walkers that were hauling the siege cannon.  The design of the legs lined up between the LEGO scout walker, but it wasn't anywhere near the size of the haulers.

Wasn’t that what BB-8 was driving around in near the end?

There are a couple of LEGO Scout Walkers.

The Heavy Scout Walker (75177) didn't make it into the movie.
There's also the First Order AT-ST with BB-8 (75201) that looks like the one BB-8 pilots in the hangar

I was referring to the Heavy Scout Walker.

It's a pretty cool set.

Hmmm... looks like we might have a repeat of Hasbro cancelling basic figures and EE saving them like last year (Galen, Fenn, Raddus, Sefla).

EE is now taking pre-orders for what they say are exclusive figures -  C'ai Threnalli and First Order Flametrooper (Firing Pose).

Nothing for that single carded Emperor figure yet though...

(and yes, EE links are all #sponsoredlinks)

Glad to see these and the Finn/Phasma pack saved by EE, but does this mark the end of the Last Jedi line at retail basically? I guess we saw a few other pictures of Maz, Emperor, and Hoth Leia, but maybe those are coming later. I really hope we see a healthy line in the 18 month gap between Solo and Episode 9. It just seems like there are so many holes to fill in from the sequel trilogy alone. I guess this has been the new norm in this era, it just seems strange that it is basically two waves of figures, a handful of vehicles, and we're out.

Paraphrasing Adam P. from EE, they passed on picking up the Emperor since it is currently being offered at Target.

OMG DEATH OF THE LINE.  Seriously, this doesn't bode well for anything. The 18 month gap is more likely to be a dead zone.
