Ah, interesting. I don't really follow any of their non-SW stuff so I hadn't noticed that.

Do we know when The Ghost will ship? It's a little odd if they are going to ask us to back this upcoming Haslab before we even have the last one in hand.

Got this one a bit ago… perfectly solid figure, but like we always talk about, very overpriced.  It’s a basic figure in every way, he take up no more space than any other figure.

They just want a 50% markup because they can.

But Rob, there are flame effects? Surely those are worth $3 each?

I decided to order a full case for the first time in 10+ years (I also grabbed two Zebs from EE while I was at it). I was planning on doing two of each anyway, and with the set at two each this just makes sense. Here's to hoping those TBDs end up being the unannounced VC320 & VC321 and not some carryforward figure from the previous wave...

Love the Kanan, but I really hope we get the rest of the Rebels mains in Season 1 attire. (I thought that's what this Ezra was originally supposed to be.)

Jango just showed up on my doorstep from EE. :)

Isn’t he on a regular card in the Haslab or did I read that wrong on Instagram comments?

He is on a regular card with the Ghost, yeah. I meant on a non-Mural cardback.

Love it. He's been near the top of my lists for years. I just wish he wasn't Deluxe, or not in this packaging anyways. I just want him on a regular card, even if it had to be at a deluxe price since he is bigger.

Three voters.    Guess most folks don't have strong opinions on EU any more.

Or they figure Hasbro won't touch them???

I think it was a combo of those for me. I updated mine to all the Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor stuff because it felt like we'd have better chance of getting current media figures. I would still want other older EU figures, but I fear we'd largely be in the minority there these days. With the exception of a few main characters from the EU, we just don't have enough slots in the TVC line where anything from this classic EU that would make my top 50.

Same. I haven't seen many clear images yet, but the shots I've seen have looked great. Obviously we are already getting these three with the Ghost this year, but they've all been near the top of my most wanted figures for years, so I'm excited to get some other alternate versions.

Here is Darth Anton's video of the panel if you missed it.

Hopefully we will see early season Hera, Sabine, & Chopper reveals soon, too.

For those who missed the numbering it looks like Kannan is VC318 & Ezra is VC319.

This just showed up on my porch from Pulse this morning. Just in case anyone else had forgotten they ordered one/another one of these.

I saw one of these out on the shelves at Target here in Denver tonight.

Agreed on the size of the helmet.  But I think a removable helmet will almost never look quite right since all of the AOTC troopers were digital characters - there was no need for the helmet to be functional and for an actual person to wear it.  If you look at some of the close up shots of troopers during the battle of Geonosis, it looks as if there's no way that helmet could be removed unless it split apart somehow.

But the one thing that's notably better here?  The visor on the helmet!  I don't know how Hasbro dropped the ball so badly on the phase II armor's visor.  Thankfully this looks a hell of a lot better.

I just wish they'd commit to doing swappable heads on any figure that needs a removable helmet. That way they can get both the normal head and the helmet in scale. Swappable heads also helps keep the helmet from getting warped and distorted. With the exception of maybe the Clone Commandos and the Boba Fetts, none of the other removable helmet figures haven't had some kind of an issue.

Thanks Rob. The helmet definitely looks a bit large, but like you say, not egregiously so.

I was going to cancel a few of mine based on that pic but it looks like Amazon will only let you cancel an entire pre-order and won't let you edit the quantity, lame. Oh well it's not so bad that I can't live with it on a few clones.

Here's to hoping it was an error and the Dark Trooper is supposed to be 1x to a case...

The Vintage Collection / Re: 2024 March Madness Poll
« on: March 27, 2024, 11:38 AM »
I ended up voting for Pong Krell in the finals... even though I'd rather have Baylan in my collection.

Just on principle I didn't want to vote for two of the main characters from a new media show that has been out for less than a year, especially since they are both lightsaber wielders. Hasbro and LFL should know that we want these and they should already be in the line anyways. It's not surprising to see the fanbase so divided over this poll, that's really par for the course for Star Wars fandom these days. I do wish more people would look at these as an opportunity to vote in never-before-made characters or figures that Hasbro wouldn't likely consider otherwise, but realistically I want 61 of the 64 figures on that list, and was mostly fine with the starting choices. It's sad that it will take so long to get any of them made with the way the line is today.

I was really hoping Baze Malbus or Luthen would win, those were at the top of my list. But I do like the look of him and enjoyed the episode arc he was in. I'd happily buy him if Hasbro ever made him.
