I found this fig last night at walmart, they must have found an old box because I also found and got potf lando and leia boushh. I only saw this fig of the queen once and that was in Dec 99. Up for trade or sale.

Very, very strange find indeed. This also could have been someone taking the figure back to the store just recently. I had a "harder" time finding this figure when she was out originally. Nice score.

When she was originally released she was out and about. I definitely picked her up back then, because I think it's a very nicely detailed figure.

This was very hard to find when it was first released in the UK. I only ever saw 2 in TRU, both on European cards, in November / December `99. I bought one and opened it up; it’s the one I still have loose in my collection. There was never any sign of the US carded version at that time.
Then, around September 2001, she started turning up in large numbers on both Euro and US cards, and dirt-cheap too. At the moment I have 3: 1 European loose (TRU 7.99GBP), 1 European carded (99p :o ), and 1 US carded (again 99p).

I have been hearing rumors that the EP1 figures were going to be released at Retailers again at the end of this year, anyone know anything, please confirm. Thanxs!

I've heard some people talking about that in other forums, but I don't think I've heard a confirmation about that. I could only assume that retailers still have EP1 figures in stock still, and that they just want to get rid of them. Now you know that there won't be any of the hard-to-find figures like Sio Bibble, Queen Amidala Ascention Gun, TC-14, R2-B1, etc. because the employees probably got first dibs on those. We'll get a bunch of Jar Jar's and what-not filling the pegs. If I see any EP1 stuff I'll probably buy it, because there were some great figures in that line.

All I can say that is there are still EP1 items on the shelves of a few stores around me in Green Bay- earlier in the year Shopko blew out the remaining EP1 figs and KB still has some on the discount racks. I think that if any do hit shelves agin it is going to be the overstock from wharehouses. Like Chris stated if there are certain figs I will pick up more but the harder to find ones will not see the daylight. so expect alot of Mauls and Qui Gons ;)

Oh, man that sucks i heck of had my hopes up to walk in the TRU store, and see some Queen Amidala (Battle), Sio Bibble, Darth Sidious (Holo), R2-B1 hanging on the pegs, i really did. But thanks anyways, do you know if there is anyway i can ask an employee if they can see if they have any EP1 figures in their wherehouses.?

I finally got my EP1 figures , finally, i have been waiting for 4 years to get these new figures. They are all on MOMC, i am so excited with Star Cases and everything i mean woah!!!! I can't beleive i scored these. I took a trip to a comic store in Pleasant Hill, CA and was shocked, i mean totally shocked, when i saw the new stuff they had on the pegs, decked out new stuff. Woa, i can barely breathe i am still hyped up about it. But anyways, they had the following figures for $8.99 each:
Darth Maul (Sith Lord),
Darth Sidious (Holographic),
Destroyer Droid (Battle Damaged)
All the Battle Droids all Variations,
Sio Bibble,
Naboo Royal Guard,

That's an incredible score on the above figures (I removed a few of the easier ones though). At only $9 a pop, you definitely saved yourself some decent dough. Well done! Congratulations on finishing up your Episode 1 collection too, and for maintaining the patience in doing so, thus earning you a good savings on them. Patience always pays off eventually! So are you going to go after POTJ now?

I know, man i could not believe my eyes, and then when he said all for $9.00 i wanted to faint, this guy cut me a great deal, and i praise him for that, i saved about 100.00 bucks, awesome. But yea now i do need to finish up my POTJ collection!

from the POTJ line they do, Theed Invasion is POTJ, Chris. ::) lol!
But i havent seen any EP1 figures here since 2000. But if i do, i will let you know!

Old stock, lost in the back forever, most likely. Pretty steep price though.
I just snagged the entire commtech set for $185 Cdn delivered. Sorry, should say that was loose and it works down to about $140 US. So I now have all the HTF figs carded and loose. Took care of my hooded Leia, Wuher and another commtech Stormie is always welcome.

went to my TRU today, and found 3 EP1 figures on the pegs with old "orange" tags on them that priced at $2.97, the figures were, Darth Maul (Sith Lord), Jar Jar Binks (Naboo Swamp), Queen Amidala (Coruscant), i asked the associate who was working in boy's world at the time, and he said they just got those from a return, but then i was wondering, because does TRU put stickies on the collectibles? It was really weird, but will they take back figures that are so old?

I have a Brooks Drugstore by me that still has Ep 1 figures on the pegs. All they have are Nute and Rune, but they have been there since they were released!! They never even got the new stuff in, no POTJ, AOTC, nothing. You'd think they would have removed them from the pegs and gotten some of the newer releases in. ::)

that long, dang, that sucks and to have the two most EP1 figures that pegwarmed through out the US, that sucks, have you asked them anything?

there's a duane read across the street from my job that has about 6 ric olie figures on the peg. and a rite aid down the street that has ff 8d8 and admiral ackbar... ::)

yea, my rite aid has 1 C-2 "8D8" figure, it is smashed and all, the bubble is smashed the card is bent in to many ways, and they also have 1 Ugnaughts and Ewoks in the same condition. They also have an opened Mace Windu (Arena Confrontation), and thats all we have.

My local KB still has about half a dozen POTF2 Ewok Celebration Leias. There's so many price changes on the stickers, from the original 7.99 to 3.99 to 2.99 to 1.99 back to 2.99 its so funny that its sad....

One TRU by me still has about 10 E1 Nute Gunrays on clearance for $1.98. Been that way for over a year now. The only action on them has been moving from the SW section to the clearance section. Pretty pathetic.

There's a Ben Franklin store here that finally started 'clearancing' their five-year-old TPM figures, for $4 each. ::)
It's not all bad, because I got a Boss Nass for my carded collection.

Last time I saw an Ep. 1 figure at retail was at KB last Spring (before it closed). They had a bunch of Mace Windu's for $2.99. I decided to get one since I didn't have him.
I remember awhile back I had found some Ep. 1 figures at FREDS for like $7 or $8 still and if they still have those now, I'd be shocked.
