Title: Vintage OTC Figure Poster (with R2 & Chewie)!

Post by: Brian on July 13, 2004, 10:44 AM: I just saw that as well Jeff, that poster is pretty sweet. And agreed, the Chewie and R2 look pretty spiffy so far. I'm really looking forward to what we'll see from Hasbro at Comic-Con. At least we have confirmation that the ROTJ wave will be there. Wonder what the Fett-man will look like too. Thanks for posting that!

I really hope they've still got a surprise or two in store for us, with at least a little NEW news on the 4" line. Regardless, it sounds like it's gonna be a fun time down there!

Looks like Chewie will be a ROTJ version which is cool. The Bespin Escape one works for me for ANH and ESB

Looks like Flocked Chewie is still a ways out too :P

It is so cool, and is being given away for free....would it have been so difficult for Hasbro to have made/offered something like this (maybe for each of the movies) as a promotion to use up some of those Jedi points? I mean, I'm glad that those who used the auctions could hopefully get what they wanted...but I never utilized those, and I don't think a lot of others did either, so it might have been a nice, cheap, way to get something for our JMP. Oh well, I guess I'm glad they waited for the VOTC too, because those figures really look fantastic in that poster.

Not sure I like the hairstyle goin' on Chewie's noggin there. I prefer the more "calm" look of ANH and ESB to his "bangs" in ROTJ... :-\
