2007 Rumors and Speculation

I was just reading through the Galactic Blogger over at GH, and found this quote interesting:

"Will Hasbro show off the upcoming Sith Infiltrator and V-Wing Fighter? Will there be a brand-spanking-new Speederbike (and an assortment of speeder-sized vehicles)? Is that a hint?"

I hope that is a hint, because I think we'd all like to see a new Speeder bike, and there could be some potential in a new assortment of the speeder-sized vehicles.  It will be interesting to see, can't wait for Toy Fair.

I doubt it, as she's such a minor character. The BARC pack-in is likely the only version we'll see of her.

I don't see anything on those lists that wasn't already revealed on the Wal-Mart computer list from back in January...  In fact, the R2-Dtoys list has all the same misspellings that we saw other January list:

Yep, looks like the same list from R2DToys, but I'm thinking it is probably fairly accurate.  It seems like anymore, the rumors/lists do pan out more often than not, and I think that this lineup might be pretty close to what we're getting for the rest of the year.  Who knows though, things can always change.  One thing I've noticed though, didn't Hasbro in one of the Q and A's mention that we'd be getting a new Qui-Gon Jinn this year?  I thought they did, but maybe I'm just imagining that.  I'll have to go back and look through the Q and A archive sometime, but I thought it was mentioned and we haven't seen it on any "lists" since then.

Yeah... in one of the Q&A sessions (with Yakface in September, I think) they said we'd get a super-articulated Qui-Gon sometime in 2007.

No sign of him in the basic figure line that I can see... there's not even a TPM wave in 2007 (2x ANH, 1x ESB, 2x Jedi, 1x AotC, 1x RotS, 1x EU, 1x FU).  I guess he either slipped to 2008 or there must still be a few surprises in store for us...

That is a misspelling--but not the one you're probably thinking of.  It's actually supposed to be "Yeti."  You see, in one of the upcoming EU comics, Hammerhead travels to Hoth and hooks up with a Wampa, and together they have a child, and that child is the Momaw Nadon Yeti.  I haven't seen any pics yet, but it sounds great on paper.

Yes, they did.

The Galactic Hunt Obi-Wan and the Evolutions Anakin are amazing sculpts. Also some of the Episode III sculpts including Ki Adi Mundi and Kit Fisto are fantastic. When will we see some more of these "super articulated" Jedi sculpts?  A Qui-Gon Jinn akin to the Anakin and Obi-Wan previously mentioned would be very exciting to fans, as would any other SA type Jedi, including Adi Gallia, Eeth Koth, and Bariss Offee.  Also, is the upcoming Yarael Poof figure an improved sculpt over the Jedi Council figure? (YF, 9/01/06)

Thanks for the comment. We do have some of the other Jedi that we want to do in an updated, super-articulated manner, and Qui-Gon is going to get that treatment sometime in 2007. Others that you mention will be updated, but not next year….they are slated for further out figures. Yarael Poof is the same figure as the Jedi Council version, with a lightsaber this time.

as great as wave five sounds, i really doubt were get that much EU in one wave.... ever.
