2007 Rumors and Speculation

That is a lot for one wave, but 2007 seems like a year of shake-ups or something...  Lots of different looks for Hasbro, and EU seems like it's not off-limits for the H this year like in the past (mostly).  That is a ton for one wave and it's all over the EU spectrum too.

Yeah, when I updated the JD basic figure list yesterday (using info I got from a differnt source than R2-Dtoys), that source had them in the Jabba Wave 4.

I'm sure there's a few more surprises in store for us with waves 5, 6 and 7 since they seem incomplete.

I don't know about that... Hasbro keeps saying that there will be 60 basic figures/coins and that is how many we've seen so far.

Add them up and you get to 60 figures even... yeah, the later waves seem light, but I would guess that is to accomodate re-shipping the earlier wave figures in the same case.

Is it confirmed that the Force Unleashed figures will have coins and be a regular wave? Or will they be there own little subline like Shadows of the Empire was?

I feel Bespin Han & 4-LOM will be re-packs & will be re-sculpted for next year's vintage line.

That's just me & I'd rather have it that way too.

Adds to the already increasingly expensive year too.

I'm kind of only interested in the AT-RT Assault Squad as the ARC-170 isn't my cup of tea.  The figure set for it might be cool though.  I could get into that...  Justnot the ship.

The Bomber would have to be something special compared to the past 2 paintjobs for me to bite, and the Cinema Scene...  meh, unless it's basic figure scale.

The AT-RT could be pretty cool though...  That was a vehicle that went pretty fast in '05, they were popular, and the basic RT Driver rode the thing just fine too so I'm hoping that any pack-in figure is based on THAT and not the crummy posed pack-in that originally came with the RT.

I'ms ure the ARC will be a hit with people though, that paintjob just seems popular...  Wonder how the figure pack will possibly shape up though?  Be nice to see something semi-new with it ala a removable helmet pilot, but I'm not going to even hope for that I think.

im waiting for the ARC-170 and the pack of figures. sounds cool only this time i think im going to try and get the figure pack first...i wont let myself miss the figure pack for a specific ship two times in a row. damn gunship

I have to wonder what the ARC-170 crewmembers will look like.  They're sure to have a new paint deco scheme.  As for the droid?  I recall seeing one on the Venator class Star Destroyer where Obi-Wan holds his briefing, but I'm not sure on the color scheme.  But I'd also like to see this one:

Why? Target exclusives are cheaper. Though all Target exclusives warm pegs & shelves. (The Felucia & Mace ones I've never seen)

I'll probably get them, though I wish the ARC-170 was the ROTS version since I need some.

doesnt matter if they are cheaper. if you live in Canada target doesnt exist meaning the exclusives won't be heading my way anytime soon or even at all.

Seriously though JangoTat, I know how you feel as around the time they got the Skiff, no Target existed in Pittsburgh, PA...  Dunno about the rest of the state, but ours didn't show up till the Y-Wing, and at that point there were I believe two Targets in all the Pitt area and none was really convenient (one on the other side of the city near the airport, the other in a development where the great Homestead Steel Works used to be).

But keep this in mind...  This was the time before big forums, strong internet communities and things...  They were pretty new thinngs.  I networked through the old FFURG customizing email listserver (man, the days of email listservers...  talk about slow arguments), and managed to get the Y-Wing and Skiff both through that very small group...  So if you're ever hunting for Target stuff put out feelers in the classifieds for help because sometimes people are able to help out and you can reciprocate when you get something nobody else can find too.
