Title: Naval Trooper blues

As I looked all around the various sources across the net Am I correct that a new Imperial Naval Trooper/Death Star Guard/Death Squad Commander etc... will not be out this year ?  Why oh why, do they hate him so ? I think it's because all the other figs are jealous of his snazzy outfit.

But seriously , they're security. They impose the Empire on the Empire personel. How cool is that. They deserve a proper super poseable fig [ w/ holster and correct pistol ]
and maybe even a security computer station packed in with 'em. It could double as a stand.

Well it would be against hasbros "law"...that states they will take they're sweet fat time to make a figure all the fans and collectors want...and then they will botch it.
But dont be sad!
Next line up they will release one with crap articulation(we can at least hope for the best) and then finally they will make a glorious Vintage something(other lines name inserted here) where it will be SA and supremely awesome...but only 1-2 per case.

And that...is how hasbro looks at making fan favorites...  :P

There will not be a new Death Squad Commander this year, but there will be a kitbash coming in the Yavin wave. However, we are getting a new Death Star Gunner, a possible repack of the VOTC Stormtrooper, Moff Jerjerrod, and we already got the the new AT-AT Driver.

Yeah, new DS Gunner is scheduled for the Yavin wave. I'm dissapointed that he's to be a kit bash. I will reserve final judgement when pictures surface.

I can't wait to see more of the sandtrooper. And I like the looks of the death star gunner too. A few more officers would be nice, or basic clean stormtroopers, but overall my army builder side is fairly satisfied.
