Just wanted to give my boys the Minnesota Wild their due for clinching a spot tonight in the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year.  The Playoffs are one of the most exciting events in sports and I remember fondly the North Stars run in 1991 where they lost to the Penguins in 7, maybe its a Gulf War thing and the Wild will make a repeat performance

Nope, like the Dallas Stars after them no way in H-E double hockey sticks will I ever root for a team who left the fine state of Minnesota

And the only thing I see the Lakers 4-peating this year is their losses in the first round to either the Spurs or the Kings...

KG sure put on a show on Friday adding another notch in his MVP resume belt...we shall see

I will as I told DennisTPM lay claim to all of Lakers titles they won while playing Minnesota s ours and not California's, you can take the Magic and Crybaby years, George Mikan, Vern Mikkelson, John Kundla and Bud Grant (yep that Bud Grant) were ours not yours...

BTW where is the nearest actual real lake to LA???  Tar Pits don't count

Ice Cold Coca Cola, the nectar of the gods.  But as I said in the exercise thread I really can't touch the stuff so I drink diet pop...and I actually prefer Diet Pepsi

FYI, when they changed the Coke recipe back in the 80's they actually were changing it to taste like sugared Diet Coke.  All taste tests pointed to it kicking Pepsi's arse and when it was released it fizzled big time.  I still remember that and how pissed people were.

I've seen the New Coke still packaged as Coke II every now and then and only in 2 liters, I was going to buy some next time I saw it because I haven't had it for a long while

Thanks to all of you guys for checking us out, I don't want to bad mouth Galactic Hunter too much cause I still like the site very much but its largest problem is that hardly any of the long time members collect anything any more, they're there just to socialize really.

I too am 6'4"  Last time I stepped on the scale I was 210, I think the highest I was was around 245 and the lowest since college was 203

I am not really fat I just have no muscle, I am a pretty stereotypical nerdy engineer I guess
