I was hoping they had just permanently canceled this wave.
If they recard any of the prior 9 onto this styled cardback, I'm gonna be seriously livid. But they didn't do that before, when they switch from the POTJ green to the Saga blue, so hopefully the OTC black is just for these 3.
I guess we should start the sign up list, huh? :-\

I assume you've got the first 9 Matt?
I've never bothered with these:
1. because of the extreme difficulty in getting them
2. because of the EU type of figures they are.
But they've always been in the back of my mind, someday I'll add 'em to the collection.

Are these out now? That packaging is really nice.
I've never bothered with Star Tours either, only purchased the 3 Astromechs and Captain Rex at DisneyWorld.
But damn... I love that packaging. Makes me want to buy them. :-\

At least the hard part about getting these is getting to a Disney theme park. Once you're in, they seem to always have them. I'm heading down in October. With a little arm twisting, I might be able to help a few guys out...

My Star Tours Wave 4 arrived today! (special thanks to my source! ;))
I thought I'd take some nice carded and loose photos for those still on the fence on these:

While the droids are EU fodder, they are some really nice figures. I though they would be lame, but there is a LOT of detail packed into these little guys. There are a lot of paint apps (colored wires, knows, dials, etc) and a lot of detail in the wiring and such (OK, maybe not so much on MSE-1T, but the other two are really great!
I guess I'm glad I ponied up the dough for them after all! :)

If anyone knows of an easy way to get these figures online or somewhere else I would appreciate it if you could let us know.
I need two each of these things and to pay inflated prices on eBay just kills me.

You've apparently missed my sign-up sheet, Pete. Disneyland's an hour away from me, so when these finally hit out here (they're only at DisneyWorld so far), I'll be picking JD'ers up a bunch of sets, like I've done with the previous couple waves. So should I put you down for two sets then - carded and openers? LMK...

Rather than buying plane tickets or taking a road trip and paying big bucks for parking and entry passes, you can call the Disney phone order line at 407-363-6200. That is how I purchased all 4 waves to date. Aside from a few minor bends, cards and bubbles are in good condition and well-packaged when they arrive. Shipping appears to be a flat rate regardless of how many sets you order. I ordered 2 sets of wave 4 and they arrived in less than 2 weeks. Hope this helps!

UPDATE!!!!!!!
My wifey is at DISNEYLAND NOW. She says there's a ton of figures there in the STAR TRADER
(Wave 4). She's getting me an extra set for trade!
ALSO..Potential confirming MAJOR UPDATE. More clues to confirming the questionable status of the mickey/yoda 2 pack!
She tells me the store clerk tells her the Star Trader won't be carrying the 2-pack because it's an exclusive . I asked my wife to go back to the store to clarify if that means it will be available only at disney world?!!! She'll call me back tonite to let me know.

Went to the Star Trader last night and saw the new wave of droids, but no Jedi Mickey plush dolls or Yoda Sets.

Yikes, that's a bummer Anthony. Did he nab you two sets, both non-mint? If so, maybe when I go grab a bunch for folks here, I'll try to pick out some mint ones to swap with yours, since I've got a few people here who have asked for non-mint openers. Cool?

If anyone still needs these, I recommend calling up Disney and ordering. I recieved mine they were double boxed and the cards were minty fresh. Got the Yoda Mickey as well.

Glad you finally got those Jim, and MOMC no less, which means you're already better off than me. I've been feeling bad that I haven't made a trip down there in about two months, and haven't been able to help you or anyone else out with these things. Heck, I've been getting help on those Mickey/Yoda sets myself, that's how bad things have gotten...
Pretty lame looking figures though. Hope that's the end of the line finally, 'cause I'm getting tired off this crap! (unless they want to focus on just the astromechs)

Is wave 3 still readily available or are they all gone now that wave 4 has been out for awhile? I'm going to Florida in February and was thinking about picking up both wave 3 and 4 then.

I don't recall seeing anything but black cards (Series 4) the one time that I did make it down to Disneyland a few months ago, so I'm not sure where all the old pegwarming stuff from Series 1-3 went. I pray they didn't pull them all off the pegs to recard them onto black. Anthony or Paul may know better if there's been any older stragglers floating around the Star Traders shop though.
No idea what's going on down at Disney World these days. You should shoot Sharon (Darth Shader) a PM, since I believe she was just there this past weekend, and she could probably let you know what's there Mikey. Good luck!

I've heard of ST being found at outlets... Possible it had a buy-back clause to it perhaps, or that DW just dumped them, but it's possible they got pushed out... That line had some nice figures to it really. That WEG droid still is one of my fav droid figures.

The only green carded ST fig left on the pegs here in Orlando is Rex. The rest were clearanced out last year. :-\

Mike, they are gone as well. I had a friend down there last week and everything is gone. I actually have picked up some extras for less than retail on ebay. $7-8 eachj.

"Clearanced" as in sale prices, Sharon? I've never heard of these things actually going on sale out here, though I have heard of some of those Disney outlet places getting them for cheap.
I still need to get back down to Disneyland and pick up a MOMC set of wave 4, since mine are pretty thrashed. Sounds like these things are actually selling pretty well, which is suprising since I think this wave sucks the most of all 4 waves so far...

Going to bump an old thread cuz I have a question about it. Why does it seem that MSE-1T is so dang rare? For the longest time I have only seen one of him going for $50 with shipping - does he deserve that kind price tag?
And while I am on it, if anyone has a spare MSE-1T, RX-24 (Rex), WEG-1618, or SK-Z38 let me know. Loose for less is fine ;D then my Star Tours collection will be complete.
