Hey Hasbro! / Re: Questions for Hasbro?
« on: June 12, 2007, 03:11 PM »
- Over the past year we've gotten several figures with removeable helmets, including Stormtroopers. Are removeable helmets going to become a standard for the Star Wars line from now on?

- This year we're getting new, super articulated versions of Bossk and IG-88 in the Vintage line, a re-release of the VOTC Boba Fett in the Saga legends line, and a new version of 4-LOM in the Basic line. This leaves us with Dengar and Zuckuss as the only two Bounty Hunters left who do not have toys up to par with their counterparts. It's been 3 years since the latest version of Dengar came out and almost 10 since the last Zuckuss was released. Is there any chance we'll get a new Dengar and Zuckuss in 2008 to go along with the other super articulated bounty hunters?

- Are there any plans for Comic Packs based on the Shadows of the Empire comics?

TV-9D9 / Robot Chicken Star Wars
« on: June 12, 2007, 02:34 PM »
Not sure if this has been posted yet, or how many other people know about it but the Adult Swim show Robot Chicken will be doing a 30 minute Star Wars special this Sunday night (June 17) at 10 PM EST. Now they've done Star Wars related stuff in the past, but this special appears to be all new material (and some using Hasbro toys). They even got multiple SW personalities to provide voices for the special. So far they've announced that Ahmed Best, Mark Hammil, and Uncle George himself will be providing voices.

Looks to be awesome, and I can't wait for it.

You can find out more info (and watch clips) here.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: EE Mandalorian 14 Pack
« on: June 11, 2007, 07:50 PM »
For some reason I missed this originally and just saw pics of the one debuted figure. Looks good, but I'm not even going to consider ordering until we see what else is included. I'll probably end up passing on it like I have with almost all the latest EE Exclusives.

Yeah, mine came today as well, and that lack of updates on the tracker was what was scaring me.

Fantastic figures though. I have yet to open them because they look so damn good carded. I should have ordered a second set, but money is tight...

The Vintage Collection / Re: Hasbro Q&A Sessions

I think it's just Hasbro not knowing what the heck is happening. I clearly see a VOTC Lando repaint (with a holster) in that pic.

Still at one but I've been seeing these guys everywhere. I'd buy a lot more but I'm still playing catchup on the basic line, and funds are tight enough as it is. *sigh*

I have a Canon ZR200. Had it for about 18 months and I couldn't be happier. It uses Cassette Tapes, but you can also use a Memory Card to tape things (which can be uploaded to your computer easily). Of course, you can also hook the camcorder to your TV to watch the cassettes. I got it as a gift, so I don't know how much it costs, but the website says the street price is about $360. And since that was probably a few years ago the price has most likely dropped. I'm sure a DVD Camcorder would be better, but if you're looking for something just to tape footage with and watch again in a few years, this would probably be your best bet.

Still waiting on my McDroids from ToyRocket. I got the shipping notice last Saturday, I'm starting to get worried.

Walked into TRU and found a fresh case of Wave 2 and two figs from Wave 3...

walked away with Pilot Biggs, Honor Guard, Jawa, and McFett.

3970
Just one so far, but I'll be getting several more.

3971
HOLY ****! The droids are going for retail on SWS. I figured they'd be at least $35.

Speaking of the droids... has anyone gotten their order from ToyRocket yet?

Saw Luke, Han, and Leia at TRU today and snagged them. They were $10 each, in case anyone was wondering.
