I completely agree with you.

I fully expected the possibility of getting shut down. I didn't even bother to argue, because it wasn't worth it.  I can just go back to the same store on Friday.

I just found it annoying that they put that much new stock out without heeding the street date instructions on the cases.

I can relate!

Not so much with Rogue One product, but back in the Legacy era, I was losing my mind because two Walmart stores in my area kept putting out AT-TEs and other vehicles but would not sell them.  They kept taking them from me at the register, then the next day, they'd be back on the shelves!

I did end up getting the AT-TE and Homing Spider droid early though thanks to manager overrides as she saw this happening and understood my frustration.

The A-Wing is $29.99, I think... saw shelf tags a few days ago at a Walmart and I think that was the price.

Other Toy Lines / Re: Acid Rain - by Ori Toy

Jesse, I totally agree... cool toy line... (I don't purchase these but I always enjoy the eye candy).

And it's important to find fun and joy in what we can.

Life is too short and difficult, so try and find things that do make oneself happy.

I have zero interest in 5POA animated figures, so the Rebels short-packed stuff is fine by me.  I could see myself getting Sabine for my son, but he really doesn't seem interested in 5POA figures.  Each time he asks when I show him new figures online - "do these ones bend?" - when I tell him no, he says he doesn't want them then.  Sure, I'm an influence on that but I have noticed he doesn't even touch his 5POA toys at all anymore.  The SA Star Wars and Joes, he plays with a lot.

Anyways... assuming I can find them, I'll probably make purchases about like this...

Kylo - 0
Jyn - 2 or 3 (at least 1 for a custom)
K2-SO - 2 or 3 (at least 1 for a custom)
Stormtrooper - 3 or 4
Ground Crew - 3 or 4
Kanan - 0
Sabine - 1 (only for my son, if he even wants it)

Black Friday sales... and I am sure you'll see it getting some price drops at Walmart (if they even carry it) somewhat quickly.

The sad thing is, it looks like an awesome toy.  But I think they should have removed the walking feature and gotten this down to $200 MSRP.  I'd be a buyer then in a heartbeat.  At this price though, I am pretty certain I'll be waiting for a sale... then may get a second one on clearance.

As much as I don't need more 5POA Kylo Ren figures, I see why Hasbro's including him.  It's healthy for retail too.

As a matter of fact, it would be better for retail if General Lando was not being repacked in the 3.75 TBS line... repacking TBS Kylo would be actually be better when talking about sales.  Though I'd rather them pack the First Order Stormtrooper again instead of either of those.

The TIE fighters are on clearance in my area at Target - something like $23, I believe.

I agree, the "armor up" crap is probably the worse thing TFA Hasbro did.

Weird - at Walmart, they clearanced them out.  But kept the 2-pks in their planogram.

At Target, the exact opposite... I don't get it.

Really cool stuff here.  Any female characters in the works?

Agreed, I really think that pretty much anyone who displays their figures loose will find a good use for these.  The little clips come with the order and really work out way better than I would have imagined.  Definitely can't wait for 3.75" scale ones.  GTP toys indicated that they think the 3.75" ones will be even better...

Nice pics, and Jesse and both JediJman explained these spot on.

I am so happy!  These seriously have uplifted my outlook on the hobby a lot.  It just opens up display possibilities so much.  I hope that this is just the tip of the iceberg with what these guys are going to make available.

Got my order of 6 inch walls today, damn these are really impressive.  They are pretty much exactly what I've been begging for Hasbro to make for quite a while now.  I can recall a few years ago mocking up something very similar to this as a "would be awesome SDCC reveals" fake presentation.  I'm so happy!!!

Once they get the 3.75" sets in stock, I can see myself dropping a hundreds of $$ right off the bat,  maybe closer to a 1k order.  These are that good and are a game changer for displaying a collection.

Hasbro really missed the boat, in my book.

I ordered the starter set and two add on sets.

I'm so sick and tired of Hasbro right now that as soon as the 3.75" sets are available, I'm going to drop a few hundred more bucks on these things.  Hasbro is so out of touch, I'm honestly getting sick and tired of them with the brand.  They have handled the 3.75" line so poorly these past several years; there's no excuses for it.
