I expect that they'll do a nice box set very soon.  One with Jabba, Salacious Crumb, (maybe) Oola, (maybe) Bib Fortuna.  Maybe it'll be the next Medicom Club exclusive.

Let's not forget they're making TWO series (4 & 5) this year.  The previous series were all done once a year, were they not?

Maybe they were originally gonna make some of those series 5 'bricks as the year-end Toys R Us set, but they figured they'd get more chances to make chases this way.

I think they're already doing a lot of Star Wars this year.  Ceremonial Luke, that white 'threepio' and Ten Nunb make it worth the effort for me.  That black 'R5' repaint is just gravy.  :)

Also they're probably gonna announce another Medicom club exclusive in the vain of the Speeder Bike and Max Rebo sets.  It'll be expensive, but that one I'm sure will be all original.

PS. And are we all sure that that's Romba?  That kinda looks a bit like another Wicket.  With the classic Kenner color paintjob.  A little bit darker.

Never mind.  I found him.  He's one of Vader's too.

I think it's awesome that they're putting out another Toys R Us set.  Let's face it.  Last year's sold like hot-cakes.  And seeing another l'il set to add on to the collection, I'm getting excited again.  These little SW figures'll do that, I guess.

I'm just curious who R5-A1 is?  And which is that last Ewok?  Who's Romba?

(PS.  Ceremonial Luke Rocks!)

nilito, I got your stuff out today if you didn't read your message at KW yet.  :)
I also agree that Darth Vader is the best Kubrick ever.

Thanks, P.

How're you guys posing the Emperor?  I find he looks better just with the cane.

Oh, and that Darth Vader is THE BEST KUBRICK EVER!

Was seriously thinking about purchasing it until I came to that part.  If I'm paying $300+ with shipping, they better come in a ******* box with a **** load of peanuts.

I guess it's all greed really.  Sometimes I wonder why these arses don't offer free shipping, after they've already charged 500% more than what they paid for.  Grrrr.

Oh, yeah.  I think the blue Snaggletooth (if he comes out) will be super-popular.  And (again, if they make her) the Boushh Leia will be very popular.  (She saved Han's ass, don't forget!)  I just know that whatever Medicom does with Star Wars, it'll kick ass.

Yeah.  That's what I'm definitely doing for series 5.  I'll put $300 aside and just wait until a full set pops up.  Too much hassle witht asking all of my contacts.  Most of them ignored me.  LOL  And the guy who did help me, only did it 'cause he basically owed me one.

These little guys' popularity is getting crazy!  The less head-ache next time, the better.

Hey everyone,

I think I'm going to ComicCon on Thursday.  Any suggestions for things I should pick up?  I'm only going if it's worth it.  Thanks!  Tony

Medicom's making their first appearance at one of these things at that San Diego one.  And I hear there're some cool exclusives.  If you're into the Be@rbricks at all, there are some cool ones.  Also a Metal Gear Solid Snake exclusive, I think.

I'd totally go.

Hey, anyone know if Marky Mark Hamill is into these l'il guys?  I'm sure HE'd get a real kick outta these.
:)

PS.  I just caved and spent $275 (shipping included) for a full set of 9 from one of my contacts.  (Someone I trust.)  Had about $200 set aside for them and moved stuff around to manage the other 75.  I figured if I don't buy 'em now, I'll use up that cash on stupid things like living expenses.  LOL

Now it's all about waiting for that Postman every day and giving him my 'excited doggy' impression.  LOL

Yeah.  I caved and picked up the full set and an extra Vader to give to my bro on his birthday.  (He thinks my Kubricks "freakin' rock!" and I just know when he sees even the regular Darth he's spontaneously combust.)  The seller was someone I trusted and he gave me a good price, I felt, for the whole bit+1.  $60.  And hey, I'll have a cool birthday myself come month-end.

Hey JesseVader08,
I think that eBay Darth Luke seller who stiffed us both liked you more.  He offered you a better deal.  (58.00 to my 59.99 - LOL)

But you know what?  I was thinking.  What mistake was he referring to?  His supposedly regular Darths are up for $9.99 with the Buy it Now.  But he put these Darth Lukes up at 23.88 each.  To me just sounds like he hadn't done his research.  He just realised after putting them up that he could get much more for those right now.  F-er!

Grrr.

Nah, I think I'd just avoid the really REALLY expensive ones at that point.  Love those little guys too much.
