I did well, as my mom still spoils me beyond what she should.

I got:

-Grand Moff Tarkin Bust...  I friggin' love this thing!  It is the EXACT replica of Tarkin, right down to his white undershirt on his uniform...  This is the FIRST Tarkin to be the correct color of grey too.  For anyone who wondered what color his Tunic is, check out this bust...  I know this has been a point of debate.

-A replica of Jesse James' Revolver and Wanted Poster...  Weird, I know, but my name actually is Jesse James, and so I've got a weird collection of actual things from the James Gang's past...  I have a reprint of one of his wanted posters already but now I have a 2nd which is the more commonly seen/known one...  The replica of his revolver is exact, even in weight and it still has a functioning action.  This is a nice stand-in till I'm able to afford the real thing...  That's a ways off, but this really was a surprise one for me and I'm digging it. :)

-TONS of delicate sculpting and modeling tools...  My mother really went all out and got me a ton of professional Jewler's, Sculptor's, and Modeler's tools for  my customizing endeavours.  Some much needed diamond-files especially.  I'm really appreciative of that kinda stuff.

-2 walkin' & sparkin' Dinosaurs...  Anyone have those as a kid?  Wind-up Dino's that walked and shot sparks out their mouth?  My mother found 2 and bought them for me...  :)  Dumb to most, funny as hell to me...  They found a lovely home in my Cantina next to the "Toht" guy from Raider's of the Lost Ark, and a Trandoshan custom I did once.

-Chocolate...  Love real peanut butter cups from this place around here, and got some of those...  MMMMMMMMMmmmmmm

-Halo PC...  Played it some, and then got on here. :)

-Cashmere Sweater...  I admired it from afar at Express, and now it's mine!  Now who is the sweater master around here huh?  Eh, it's still Matt, who am I kidding?

-Long-Sleeve Orange County Choppers Tee and skullcap...  Love them bikes JJ makes, though I'm more a WCC kinda guy myself as far as the show I enjoy. :)

-Few Powertools...  *grunt grunt grunt*

-Socks...  Ah, I recall chucking these aside as a child, but now it's a real treat to get "Wigwam" socks.  Damned if these things haven't become impossible to find, yet my mother managed to get me 2 pair.  I'm good for another couple years!

-All the year's Holiday Ornaments from Hallmark...  Love the TIE Fighter if you haven't seen it.  Just a great sculpt.

So I made out pretty well and it's not over cuz I'm running to my friend's house for us to exchange some gifts and I'm sure she got me some nice things.

Been a fun day, and I've had the luxury of being home ALL day and doing nothing.  Gotta love it...  :)  I just dread going back to college now since it's the next "big thing" coming up, blah.

I'll just copy & past the explanation of Boxing Day from the Canadian Heritage site for ya.  ;)

Boxing Day:

The day after Christmas, the Feast of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr, is better known as Boxing Day. The term may come from the opening of church poor boxes that day; maybe from the earthenware boxes with which boy apprentices collected money at the doors of their masters' clients.

Nowadays, we often see, in certain families, gifts (boxes) given to those who provide services throughout the year.

"Boxing Day" is listed in the Canada Labour Code as a holiday.

This is also known as the mega shopping day as most everything goes on sale.   ::)
I guess you would say it would be like the day after your Thanksgiving, Black Friday.

From the wife:
-Alien Quadrilogy
-Sweater, shirt and socks (she's always looking out for my fashion sense ;))
-Lego Mosaic that when done will spell "Star Wars".  Basically, you send a picture to Lego and they'll design a mosaic of it.  She picked the familar Star Wars logo and made a frame for it.  I'll try to post a pic of it when its finished.

From the in-laws:
-$50 Borders GC
-$70 Best Buy GC
-tie in the "Davidson" plaid
-Golf grab bag w/ tees, balls and towel
-Cooking supplies

From the grandparents and aunts/uncles:
-Cash
-Clothes

From the parents:
-Clothes
-Cash

From the siblings:
-$90 Best Buy GC

All in all, not too shabby.  I've always been blessed when it comes to Xmas.

Today, I think we're heading out to spend some of the GCs and dinero.

well, my parents always go overboard for christmas. every year they spend way too much money on presents for everyone in the family. but this year, it was worse (or better, depending on how you look at it). i have 2 brothers, both or which are married, and i was married up until earlier this year. so to compensate for my lack of a spouse, my parents decided to pretty much spend twice as much on me as they did on my other brothers, since they didn't have to buy anything for my wife this year. so, with that said, here's a quick list of what i got for christmas:

parents/siblings:
2 pair old navy jeans
2 pair levi jeans
old navy performance fleece
old navy thermal shirt
hallmark ornaments - c3p0, padme, and yoda
star wars lego - genosian fighter & t-16 skyhopper
set of three glass nightmare before christmas tree ornaments *sweet
chia pet alligator
automobile emergency tool kit
star wars classic adventures 2004 wall calender
star wars characters, creatures, and droids 2004 desk calender

and since the rest of what i got was just gift certificates and cash, i'll tell you what i bought since i went shopping today :) :
seattle seahawks home jersey #8 matt hasselbeck
tony hawk: underground for x-box
thirteen for x-box
need for speed underground for x-box
army of darkness mez-itz
alien mez-itz
art-f/x snap fit darth vader kit *sweet
grand moff tarkin dark horse bust *sweet
nightmare before christmas jack skellington votive candle holders
indiana jones disneyland figure set *sweet
a nice big stack of comic books :)
100 pack spindle cd-r's
50 pack spindle dvd-r's (for the dvd burner i bought with money from my birthday last week)
books:
slaughterhouse five by kurt vonnegut
welcome to the monkey house by kurt vonnegut
wolves of the calla: dark tower part 5 by stephen king

from friends/non-family members:
namco classic arcade
mcfarlane nhl anson carter
mcfarlane nhl patrick roy
west coast choppers t-shirt
west coast choppers flexfit baseball hat *sweet
ticket to go see life of agony in january *sweet

from "secret santa" scott/ocb:
pearl jam cd-single "man of the hour" *sweet!!
red battle droid
hoth snowtrooper
bail organa
thanks scott!!

all in all, i had a pretty good christmas. now all i need is to hibernate for about a month to make up for all the sleep i've missed over the past few weeks. of course, that isn't going to happen, it never does.

hope you all had a happy holiday, and here's hoping everyone has a very happy and healthy new year!!

I didn't receive a whole lot of Star Wars bounty, but there isn't much out around here new.  Some highlights from my Christmases:

several hooded sweatshirts (one of my favorite things to wear)
100 Years of Husker Football book
Star Wars art picture (with Han, Chewie, Luke, Leia, Vader, R2, 3PO, and Lando)
LOTR: FOTR Extended Edition (finally, now on to TTT)
Star Wars Rebel Strike and NBA Live 2004 for Gamecube
other clothes, all of which I liked actually
a couple of different gift cards

the best gifts are always from my wife, she knows me so well.  I don't really care if I get gifts at all, its just nice to spend time with loved ones, celebrate the true meaning, relax, and not have to work for a few days.  Hope you all had a great Christmas!
