Last night I had a dream...

I was at the Japan Parco show with Scott and Brent.  We were all amazed at all the Kubricky goodness and then we saw them -

- Parco exclusive carded 100% Droids Vlix  :o
- WCC Exclusive 400% Chewbacca
- WonderFest Exclusive Jabba Box Set - Jabba w/Dais, Oola, & Bib Fortuna
- Series 8:
   - Ree-Yees
   - Tessek
   - Hammerhead
   - Wuher
   - Luke Skywalker (Hoth)
   - Princess Leia (Hoth)

We bought extra carded Vlix figures and then all joked how we should charge Dale like $400 for his...  :P

I woke up and was actually sort of upset that it was just a dream...   :'(

DAMNIT JEFF! All I read from that post was this line, it shot out at me from the screen. It was only after I got excited that I saw it was your dream. DON'T DO THAT!  :P

When I saw that he posted here period, I thought he was giving us a 'Jeffesque' type update and I got excited;then I opened the thread and read the 'dream' too. Way to fool me too Jeff. At least it stirred the excitement up for this highly anticipated wave :-\.

After talking about MegaThrust yesterday, should I be concerned about being in your dreams? :-X

Actually I'm flattered to be in what is a mighty cool dream.  I'd be ecstatic if that's what came out for the rest of the year, even if it proves me wrong on the snowtrooper as the army builder for series 8.

Word from someone on the Kubricknation board is that series 8 and 9 will be all OT...
This is their report:
"Just got back from the medicom party - with previews of many upcoming releases including Star wars series 8... and 9. Big News. The new series are figures from the new movies. anankin at various ages, padme, C3P0, clone troopers, jango fett, droid soldiers, imperial guards and Darth Maul. (no Jar Jar - thank GOD!) "
"no release schedule other than sometime b/w now and the next years medicom party. the Darth Maul on his Tatooine motorbike thingy was pretty cool. the old skool C3p0 was cool, the droid soldier was ok, the bigger fighter droid was crap - because it wasn't bigger, looked strange, the clone troopers were really nice, the yoda looked the same... the padme was pretty cool actually based on this outfit.."

I am officially done with this line then... Unless they make more 400%...

I was just reading that over yonder, prequel kuby's... oy!  :'(

But I will say that carded Han block sure is nice, fogged plastic like the vinty block & a coin. Well at least something is good depending on the price.  :-\

If they go PT for series 8/9 I'm not ordering a damn thing.  Sorry, but just not into PT when there's so much vinty ground left to cover.  If every manufacturer wants to keep pushing my money to Gentle Giant, I'll just follow their wishes and go there. :-\

The Han is very sweet though.

Hmmm. I like Han. The rest of the news blows. My apologies to the prequel fans, it's just an old timers opinion.

I guess I would rather they make prequel figures than none at all.

Haven't post here in ages, but I thought you would like to know the new SW Kub scoop from the Parco Exhibition. The vintage die-hards are not going to like this news, but personally I think the looked cool if you look at it for a character design perspective and I;ll still be collecting them.

Darth Maul (No robe)
Anakin (Pod Racer)
Queen Amidala (Formal Outfit)
Qui-Gon
C-3PO (TPM Version)
