I love Chineese food, although I won't go to the place down the street anymore.

They cannot seem to tell the difference between "hot and sour" soup and "egg drop" soup. And when we order food to be delivered, they usually forget the egg roll. And when we order take out, they screw up and go to our house and drive our food all ovet the neighborhood while we wait at the restaurant for it. Where else are their powers of discernment failing them?

Too bad their food tastes sooo good, when they get the order right.

Solution, Deanpaul:

Don't give them your adress when you go to pick up the food.

Seem's like a given to me.

That sounds easy, except they use a phone system that brings up our address with their caller id (it polls their computer for repeat customers, so they don't need to take our address each time we order)... Big brother Chang knows who we are and where we are before he even picks up the phone.

Welcome to the 21st Century, Kevin. I thought the youth of today was tech savvy?

See, all of ours around here make us say our number, and they don't deliver.

Just give me something (preferably beef or chicken, none of that meat Deanpaul's into) hot & spicy. Although I can eat Sweet & Sour Chicken like there's no tomorrow.

Love me some Chinese!  But I'm mostly a meat guy.  Basically any of the beef/chicken/shrimp dishes are what I'm down for.  Sweet and Sour, Gung-pao, whatever.  It's all good.

Just forget the vegetable and rice crap.   :P

Oh yeah, gotta have some lettuce wraps (P.F. Changs) and of course some Tsing Tao to rinse it all down...   8)

I like a Dim Sum style lunch. They go around with little carts and you can pick several different little appetizers. If you have a chance to try it some time, do not hesitate.

Chinese food in China is MUCH different....

Dim Sum is very tasty, but very expensive. I had a girlfriend for several years who is Chinese and she turned me on to some great Dim Sum joints here in town.

You know what this all sounds like to me?

an "official" Chinese dinner for Jedi Defender members during C3....

Surely there has to be a Chinese place in Indianapolis nearby.

You are starting to damage my calm.

Panda Express or China King is the place for me... Panda Express's Orange Chicken kicks all kind of ass. And of course I always get a fortune cookie, and maybe an egg roll.

You haven't lived until you've had sweet and sour shrimp from Trey Yuen in Mandeville or Hammond, LA.  I agree with the PF Chang's recommendation as well: their Crispy Honey shrimp is a fave!
