about a 1/3 through Dance with Dragons.  After binge-reading through the series, I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I'm done with the wait for the next installment.

First time I've ever seen the Toy Hunter was last night.  The format seems to be way too much of a direct ripoff from Pickers - right down to the tatooed help back at the headquarters...BUT...the toys were great.  The Huffy Speederbike pedal car was amazing.

...And Mark Ruffalo has been signed to a multi-film deal as well.  Whoa!

Ed Norton seriously ****** the pony on this.

There's a suspension of disbelief threshold that this movie crashed through.  Like I said, I could tolerate the bomb countdown, to the second, of an unstable fusion reactor.  I could tolerate the pretend vehicles and weapons.  But when they not only bend but shatter basic physics... that's where you lose me.  People may as well have been walking on the ceiling for as badly as they botched things with this movie.

Basic Batman cannon.  One of his powers is to delay the detonation of any explosive for his convenience.

Speaking of timelines....what really bothered me last night was the neighborhood that they went to.

Corpses had been in the garage long enough to rot down to skeletons, but the grass was all mowed and trimmed.

Do zombies landscape?

Friends visiting family in Senoia, GA posted pictures of signs that are up all over town that read "Stalwart Films, LLC thanks the City of Senoia for NOT mowing their grass."

All the same, I'll get to work on my bodyarmor and collection of knives, stakes, swords. hammers and slingblades just in case ;)

Some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a kaiser blade, mm hmm.
