I LOVE all threes of these. Great looking figures. I live in MN, land of Target, so hopefully they are easy to get. :)
-
Those look so sweet. I’m not looking forward to the pre-order mess, but these figures look awesome!

For real! Three, all new figures, all good choices. All nicely done.
Maybe there’s hope for this line yet!
-
Dammit....target exclusives. Why does Hasbro hate us so much????
-
They look great! I look forward to hearing celebrations from the 2-3 people that got them prior to preorders selling out.
-
Are these definitely target exclusives?! Usually they don’t do a full wave of brand new high quality sculpts and have them as exclusives.
-
Dammit....target exclusives. Why does Hasbro hate us so much????
Yup. Same feels.
That said, they’re awesome looking and I want Miggs in his underworld and prison outfits too.
-
Figures look fantastic. Not loving that they are Target Exclusives either, but I am in for sure.
Side note... I hate the marketing jargon they've been using so much lately: "Comes with 2 entertainment-inspired accessories." Bleh, just say accessories.
-
Are these definitely target exclusives?! Usually they don’t do a full wave of brand new high quality sculpts and have them as exclusives.
Exclusives make sense to me since the only new pieces are heads.
-
Huh. I guess I didn’t really think of that.
-
Exclusives make sense to me since the only new pieces are heads.
There are some minor tweaks besides the new heads (like the modified belt on Koska), but these are the the type of repaints we should be getting. I don't mind the occasional "we sculpted a new OT head and gave it photoreal deco to give you the 412th version of Luke" but it's way more fun when they smartly reuse sculpts like this to give us all new characters that make sense.
-
These do look amazing. But I share peoples dismay over these being Target exclusives. The last Target exclusive offering was a complete cluster****. And we're still waiting on numerous Target exclusives to ship in the Black Series, the Droids figures as well as TVC.
Even if these are kitbashes, they look REALLY good. As for the differences?
-Is the Koska Reeves body identical to Bo-Katan? The only difference I noticed (aside from the head sculpt and paint) is that Bo-Katan has holsters for two blasters - Koska has one
-The armor on Axe Woves and the Death Watch Mandalorian look almost identical from a sculpting standpoint. Axe Woves doesn't have the rifle that the DW Mando has.
-The Din Djarin (Morak) figure's body looks nearly identical to the Migs Mayfeld
The card art is solid on Axe Woves and Mayfeld. But I think they could have done better with Koska Reeves.
I've seen some social media groups decrying this kind of kitbashing. But it also seems like the ultimate exercise in splitting hairs - they thought that using legs from a couple of different Lando figures on Bib Fortuna and Lobot made them "not completely new figures" - to which I say, what a bunch of whiny man-babies!
This kind of kitbashing? I'm okay with it in this instance where it works. Koska's armor is a lot like Bo-Katan's. The DW Mando armor from the season 1 flashbacks very well could have been re-purposed for Axe Woves in season 2. And the Imperial Transport Trooper uniforms? Well, there's a reason why they're called UNIFORMS. I think the end goal of getting great figures of cool characters has to be a major consideration here.
-
I get grumpy when kit bashing gets you the 48th variation of Darth Vader I don't want, but when you kit bash for an all new figure that was on screen (not random Gaming Greats) I get pretty stoked.
I'd love if they created a Quarren figure and kit bashed / repainted the heck out of him to make a whole crew.
I'm more than okay with new heads with new body paint jobs that get you meaningful new characters.
-
Maybe in a few years I'll nitpick, but right now, I'll happily buy these kitbash. They look fantastic and a far cry from the abuse they committed on TBS Krrsantan.
-
I'll keep an eye out for links. If anyone finds them before me, post them here.
-
I got nothing so far.
-
Same.

Axe - https://www.target.com/p/-/A-83351667
Koska - https://www.target.com/p/-/A-83351663
Migs - https://www.target.com/p/-/A-83351668
-
Got Migs and Koska... Axe says sold out and has since it first popped up.
-
Did the bots get all of Axe, or is it still yet to be posted with inventory to order?
-
Same. I'm constantly refreshing Axe Woves.
-
Axe appears to already be sold out for me too. I was at least able to grab the other 2.
-
Got Koska and Mayfeld. Hitting refresh like crazy for Axe Woves.
-
This reminds me of the Deluxe Boba Fett....Axe Woves will probably go live in about 2 hours.

Meanwhile, looks like Koska is sold out - "Preorders have sold out. Check back on release date."

They both wear Mandalorian armor, so I guess it is fitting. It's not like any of us actually thought this was going to be smooth and easy to pre-order today.
-
Koska Reeves says Preorders are sold out. Axe Woves just says sold out. This hasn't gone live yet.
-
Meanwhile, looks like Koska is sold out - "Preorders have sold out. Check back on release date."
Migs = "Preorders have sold out. Check back on release date."
18 minutes to pre-sell out for Koska, 23 minutes to pre-sell out for Migs.
-
This reminds me of the Deluxe Boba Fett....Axe Woves will probably go live in about 2 hours.
It might be an issue with the quantity limit. On the listing the quantity will go up to 10. I know with the Morak Boba Fett it went up to 99.

Yeah, but I don't think Axe has gone live yet. They may have screwed up the preorder limit so they're cancelling all those orders and will launch it in an hour or so. That's my theory of what happened with the Morak Boba Fett.
-
****! ****! ****!
Lost the Koska Reeves figure I had in my cart for just a couple of minutes before I checked out. Why is there no hold on items in a cart, even for 5 minutes?
And their search feature blows! I wasted time refreshing keywords without luck before noticing the links Jeff posted.
Damn 1st-world problems are so frustrating.
-

I don't understand why keyword searching is so weak on these pre-orders. Without the links this is next to impossible.

I was trying filtering or just looking at the primary SW page and had no luck that way either. Were they not posted here I would have missed these guys.
-
I love that there are now 79 1-star reviews for a figure that hasn't even gone on sale yet... nothing like crabby Star Wars collectors!
-
He's Up!
GO GO GO.
-
Live now!!!!!
-
Got my two. Now I can go pick up my Razor Crest from FedEx
-
*whew* Glad to grab one and be done for today.
-
Got him as well. It is annoying that they went up seperately, as I wasn't able to qualify for free shipping with Axe, even with getting 2 of him.
-
Came here to say the same. And Koska was also up.
Seems like whenever I bitch about Target (Galaxy Edge Falcon, Hondo, X-wing/Merrick), the universe delivers... sort of to say, Stop crying, you man-baby.
-
I wasn't able to qualify for free shipping with Axe, even with getting 2 of him.
I love the fact that you get free shipping if you use your Target Red Card - takes away that min order annoyance and you still get the 5% off.
-
All 3 are up for order, so I put in another order for all three to get free shipping.
-

Maybe I'll have to finally do that. I don't normally spend enough at Target to justify opening a new credit card and carrying it around in the wallet all the time.
All 3 are up for order, so I put in another order for all three to get free shipping.
In the mean time I just made a new order with all 3 to qualify for free shipping and was able to cancel the others. or thought I did until i realized target cancelled my order with all 5... >:( >:( >:(

Totally agree. When doing pre-orders and I can't seem to land all pre-orders I don't hesitate to order one item at a time as shipping is free for both Target and Amazon.
I've missed pre-orders in the past trying to get everything grouped together and now don't hesitate to pull the trigger on partial orders.
-
Yeah, they cancelled my order of three with free shipping with list of 3 possible reasons... I called to get waived or a combined order but it didn't happen. I only ordered 1 more of each and with the limit at 2x, that's where I would be.
-

Now the wait on Axe Woves makes way more sense!
-
Red Card baby. Free shipping with single figure orders.
-
Surprisingly easy to order this round. I was busy at noon when they went up, but checked back a few times and managed to get 2x Axes. About an hour later the first two were back in stock, so nabbed those too. As Rob said, use that red card to save 5% and free shipping!
-
Got mine… irked on Axe but got him. None lasted long at all though even with the limits. Other exclusives with other stores seemingly were available a lot longer but not these three.
-
I lost my credit card last week and had to get it replaced... just got an email today that Target cancelled my remaining ******* pre-order for Mayfield and Koska... >:(
I can't believe that in 2022 a company as big as Target doesn't use a credit card processor that has Account updater, or at least allows you to update the payment method on a preorder without cancelling. What garbage. >:(

Mayfeld is back up for preorder.
-
It's probably the two that Ryan originally preordered.
-
It's already sold back out... maybe it was my two...
-
Axe apparently went back up for a quick minute this afternoon... and I missed them again.
“We seem to be made to suffer. It’s our lot in life."
-
Figures from this wave have turned up in Asia. There are carded samples of Mayfeld and Koska Reeves on The Vintage Collection Facebook group. The user who posted them said they were purchased in Singapore.
-
Received an e-mail from Target that the Koska Reeves and Migs Mayfeld will be arriving at the end of the month!
-
Got my shipping notice today for Migs and Koska.
-
Me too!
-
I got one for Migs, no Koska though.
-

Same, but swap the figures.

So MN = both figures; everyone else = just one. I'm OK with that. :P
-
Hopefully these end up being as plentiful as the Droids R2-D2 around here. I have yet to see them show up in Denver though.
-
According to the website, I have Koska arriving Saturday with Migs estimated for 4 August.
Of course they're all going to my Florida address and I am still in Colorado.
-
Got the Koska email now too.
-
One of my local Colorado Targets had 5+ Migs in stock according to their computer, but the employees didn't want to go look for them or bring them out. I guess they are going to be doing a reset of their toy department and didn't have shelf space yet (despite all the empty SW pegs).
Trying to continue waiting patiently for these... even after seeing images of Targets with 6+ of each figure out for sale.
-
Something beckoned me to go to JTA today where I read that Migs has a variant -- one with a red band painted on the upper right arm (seen on the card back) and the other with the sleeve all grey. Sure enough, the figure that arrived yesterday has the red while the figure that showed up today is all grey.
-
I saw the news about the Mayfeld variation on the Vintage Collection Facebook group. I can't bring myself to go to the dumpster fire mentioned above.
I've seen a total of 5 Mayfeld figures in the wild. I bought a couple (despite having an existing preorder), and all of the ones that I've seen have the green arm band. No red so far. I'm waiting to see what my preorder yields.
Besides that? It's a great figure! They even capture Bill Burr's smirk in the likeness. And it's got troop builder potential if you keep the helmet on. Another topic that seems to have taken off is the matter of how some parts that can be utilized for other figures in the future. This figure definitely seems to be able to do that. Because if you want to make a Mudtrooper from SOLO? This is a good starting point.

I love this graphic that I saw at BanthaSkull a while back... three down, three to go!
-
I have seen both variations of Migs in the wild in equal numbers, however all the ones I got in the mail (3) were the red band variant. Green arm band is accurate to the show so I had to make sure I got one of those.
And it is a great base for making Mudtroopers. If you’re wanting to make a Han and be as accurate as possible remember that he has a different belt than Migs.

I definitely appreciated that article when it came out. It's a thoughtful look at how a figure is actually built. But not all of it is applicable in light of the removable helmets for both Mayfeld and Din Djarin.
-
My two Migs from Target.com arrived last week and I picked up four more in the wild today. Just like everyone else experienced, it looks like the Target.com version have the red right arm band, and the ones from the store are the accurate green/grey.
From all the reference I can see, it looks like Din actually does have the red arm while Migs has the green/grey. I think it makes sense the red indicates an officer and the grey/green is for regular troopers. While we didn't really see any (that I am aware of) it might make sense that there are some others with alternate markings to signify other ranks, just like the shoretroopers. For what just an error, the red arm band works out pretty well.
I'd hope that the inevitable Army Building 4-pack has an officer and some grunts. (I wonder if the same red arm band ranks would also apply to to the Mimban Swamp troopers?)
-
My Wife preordered one Migs, and we bought a 2nd at Target last week. One had the red arm band. 1st figure in a while that ive bought for the variant.
-
it looks like Din actually does have the red arm while Migs has the green/grey.
Migs figure was never supposed to have the red; it was a mix up from re-using the same body from Din for Migs. Hasbro said they were going to correct it ASAP and it looks like they did.
(I wonder if the same red arm band ranks would also apply to to the Mimban Swamp troopers?)
In the Solo visual guide book, they say the red armband is standard for grunts and then there is a white armband for medics. Matches up to what we saw in the 5POA mudtrooper figures (Han and Grunt from Target pack had red; medic had a white arm band)
-
Thankfully the first Migs I got was the variant. The one I bought to leave the helmet off and the half dozen I bought to leave the helmets on were all the corrected ones.
-
Is Din supposed to have the red band? I still need to get a non-red version of Migs, but I'm wondering what the correct look is.

In the show, Din's armor had the red arm band, Migs' armor did not.

Migs figures have been piling up at Targets around here. For now, I have stopped at 5 total. I still have yet to even see Koska or Axe on the pegs. Hopefully those show up soon too.
I am wondering if we will eventually see Migs hit clearance. It sure seems like with as many as some stores have, the slightly higher price point, and the unique SKU he could be headed that way eventually, which would be great. I'd jump on more of those.
-
We have a bunch of Migs figs here, too. But we also got the Koska cases, and she is selling less well than Migs does. His peg is half full, hers is full with a couple keeping Lando and Reeva company on the regular TVC peg.
-
I'll probably get a few Migs extras to beef out the pilots. The two I ordered from Target had the red stripe, but I found one without the stripe at Target. So basically, with Din, I have three red stripes and one without the stripe...too many cooks in the kitchen.
I just wish they had something to pilot. I don't really want a juggernaut or whatever that thing was, but even some sort of two-man minirig would be cool.

I've seen some photos of people using them as pilots for the Imperial Troop Transport. That might be a good use for them.

Oh man, I can't believe I didn't think of that. Perfect!
-
I didn't either. I've actually been using the ROGUE ONE Tank Drivers for that.
-
Oooo, I like that idea too. Speaking of, it looks like the Troop Transport is currently on sale for $53.30 on Amazon (https://amzn.to/3d0DJBD). (Jeff feel free to replace that with an affiliate link)
-
I found half a dozen Migs figures marked down to $9.00 today. Trying to decide if I want to double up on tank drivers, or return them on my $14.99 receipts. :P
-
Got an update these will be released on 10/2.
-
It'll be funny to see Axe finally hit while Migs and Koska are 15-50% off at most Target stores around here already.
