Hello one and all. I was recommended this site by a friend. I have been on several SW sites (rebelscum, sirsteves, yakface..), but I spend most of my time at the NJSWCC. I will be posting time to time (when I have the time) and I hope to do some trading and hobnobbing with fellow members.

Welcome to JediDefender, Jim.  Glad you stopped by to check us out.  I'm sure you'll dig the friendly and laid back atmosphere around here, and enjoy hobnobbing with some of the best collectors in the hobby!  Give us a holler if you have any questions about anything.  Looking forward to chatting with you around the boards here...

Hey Jim...

Welcome aboard.  I'm a pseudo member of the PSWCS, but mostly just associate with the Pittsburgh trading forums.  Still friends with all PA collectors though, and it's nice having a neighbor from the East stop by!

Yeah a long while back. I've been using pakledjim for sometime now, but I used to go by the name smurfvader. I think that was the name I used on that board as well as sirsteves and rebelscum.

Yes quite small, in fact I once got a message from someone who said they used to go by the name smurfyvader. How coincidental is that? Two people comming up with one of the crappiest names. I don't remember posting too much on Yakface, the memory is a little hazy. I just remember posting store reports.

??? No kidding? I Googled it just now and the first five pages of hits are all Trek-related. I also tried Wikipedia....

Well apparently I've been living a lie. I tried searching through dictionariry after dictionary with no luck. I can't find the word pakled. I read an article about the Trek aliens and that they got their name from the classification of sheep, but I guess they were wrong.  :'(

It coulda been the name for "sheep" in some other language perhaps....

I met JiM on the old Yakface forums and he's hooked me up many a time. Its great to have him aboard these great forums.

Hell, the fact that Pakledjim (smurfvader), CHEWIE, LandotheScoundrel, Jesse james, Gatillo and Dimetrodon are here...its like the Yakface forums all over again!  ;D
