Just getting the Scarif Trooper and the Tanker made that a worthwhile trip!

Hell, one of them would've done it for me, haha.  I wanted or would like at some point to attempt a helmetless Enfys Nest so that was nice too.  She's become one of the tougher figures to track down out of recent waves.  The Tanker though, he's gone up quite a bit I've noticed and I think I needed a few more of them because I kinda went nuts on tanks when they hit the $20s before xmas.

They had a lot of Range Troopers which are cool but I just didn't want as many.

I took a trip up New York's Hudson Valley yesterday in search of records.  In the process I happened across a comic shop that had not one, but TWO of the new TVC Stormtroopers in stock.  Since it was a comic shop I was fully prepared for some serious sticker shock.  Much to my surprise their prices were at the MSRP - $12.99 each!  So I got another 2 Stormtroopers yesterday.

Where in the Hudson Valley were you?  I grew up in Beacon!

It was in Beacon.  And a pretty cool comic book shop.

Very cool!  Although I have family there, I haven't been there in a couple of years.  Main street Beacon is incredibly different from when I grew up.

The shop I went to was good.  As for the town?  It's pretty cool.  A lot of people who are there now left NYC and decided to make a go of it upstate.  The downtown area on Main Street is really interesting in terms of shops, bars and restaurants.

My local Wal*Mart,  which is in the middle of a remodel, reset the action figure aisle and finally blew out the TVC Wave 1 leftovers and Solo BS figures on massive clearance (as well as blowing out about 30 Solo Kessel playsets they didnt have before the reset for 10 bucks each.) When I was there earlier today the sole remaining figure was a TVC Snoke with a $2.50 price tag.

I was sad to see the new planogram that showed 3 hooks for Black Series figures, 6 hooks for lightsabers, and a shelf space for the Kessel playset, and nothing else. Guess I am done there until Force Friday in a couple months.

Picked up a Snoke and Stormtrooper at my local Wally today for $7 each. I was glad to get them since I needed these for my carded collection.

Not VC, but it seems like this is where the action is at these days. Ordered another TIE striker because I want to have a little group of them, and they're a good, cheap ship.

Also ordered 2x RO Stormie and 2x Gammy. So glad the Gammorean guard is back out. I'm hoping we see a few more Jabba's characters given the same treatment, since there are plenty of doubles we now need, between the palace and the barge. My barge is noticeably "Wooof-less."

Got a 2nd Striker thinking it’d be nice to try adding the rear seating and the bomb section and chute in the middle.  Looks possible to some degree.🤔

Let me know how that goes. I was kind of interested to see if it was possible as well.

I was pleasantly surprised to actually find some new TVC figures on the pegs today.  I managed to pick up a Shadow Stormtrooper, Sith Trooper and Yavin ceremony Leia (TVC 150).

I know these have come up a few times before, but have you guys ordered these 5-packs of First Order Stormies from China before?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-5-Star-Wars-The-Force-Awakens-Stormtrooper-3-75-Loose-Action-Figure/152755164032

I bought a pack because for a little over $4 each shipped I figured why not... they really are kind of messed up.  Stiff joints, don't quite pose right... some sloppy paint, but at that price I'm tempted to just order 20 more and use them to fill out the shelves.

Did we ever confirm or settle on the idea that they're just production rejects from the factory?

I haven't bought those 5 packs, but I was always under the impression that these sorts of listings were more likely to be off-hours production runs. My reasoning is the quality issues always seem pretty consistent across the batches, whereas if it were normal castoffs they ought to have more widely ranging defects.
