Hey everyone. I had an ultrasound last week and my Dr. called late yesterday w/the results. Some of the findings were expected -- but some weren't. He was concerned about a suspicious mass he found that he wants biopsied as soon as possible. Of course they tell me this at 5:00 on a Friday. I don't mean to sound dramatic, but the waiting and the unknown are freaking us out a little. If you could keep us in your prayers it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tracy, good thoughts and best wishes to you.
-
Hey Tracy, I hope that all goes well and you're ok. My wife had something biopsied a while back and I can remember us going through the same waiting and freaking out stage. It all went well in the end, so I wish you the same luck that we had.
-
Much love, Tracy!

Don't worry Tracy...I'm sure it's nothing.
Prayers and good thoughts with you regardless.

Hopefully the news isn't as rough as the waiting for it. Our thoughts are with you Tracy.
-
T&P. I'm sure it'll all be okay.
-
By your command, you have as you wish. It'll be good news. :-*

Best wishes Tracy. I hope all is well. It seems like doctors often air on the side of caution in cases like this. It probably is nothing to worry about. :)
-
Hope all is well and you have my prayers and hopes for nothing but good news.

Also thinking about you Tracy... That's a problem in my family's history, and something my mother's very afraid of, and we had a mild scare with it just in the last couple weeks (more a panic over the way the "routine" letter the testing center sends out, long story short it was nothing). Not a fun situation, but it's probably nothing and you just have to get it taken care of to make sure. Keep your head up, and I'm sure you're in everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Hope all turns out well. In the last couple years I've had a couple situations where tests results were outside the "normal" range and the doctors erred on the side of caution. Everything turned out to be normal, but still makes for a stressful couple of days/weeks while you wait on the more detailed results, etc. Still, in hindsight the extra stress was worth the precaution.

You're definitely in our thoughts and prayers Tracy.
-
Tracy, you've prayed for my wife and I in our hard times and we are doing the same thing for you. You will definitely be in our prayers.
-
Best of luck with the news on this Tracy. Prayers go out to you and yours. You are a strong person and whatever the news brings, you will get through every bit of it.

Guys -- thank you so much for your prayers and good wishes -- they mean a lot. We are still waiting - they had to coordinate the schedules of Endocrinologist and Radiologist so they could do the biopsy. Apparently "ASAP" means next Wednesday to them. Then I'm not sure how long we'll wait for the results. In the meantime, life goes on! :)

Apparently "ASAP" means next Wednesday to them.
ASAP in the world of medicine is unfortunately a rather ridiculous term. I've been waiting months for a heart procedure, so I can empathize. Keep us informed Tracy. :)

Thanks for the well wishes, PM's and emails. We got the results back today - it's not neoplastic and it's not cancer - yea! I'll need to go in for further evaluation and testing, but I'm greatly relieved to have passed this big hurdle.

Good news indeed! How about you have a drink on me? 8)
